Some days I really wish I never discovered the difference IVs, EVs and nature make in Pokemon.

It makes all my playthroughs so tedious nowadays.

There is a lot of Hawaiian food that's similar to Japanese food because during the WW2 era Japanese made up a ton of the population of Hawaii. I actually have Japanese relatives that live in Hawaii that I've never met but my dad and grandfather know.

There is also Musubi, which there is literally a Hawaiian restaurant next door to the Poke place that sells it, which is kind of like Sushi but with Spam in it. It was a food item made popular from the WW2 era

Poke is a hawaiian salad often with raw tuna, green and white onion, (other stuff depending) covered in sesame seed oil and soy sauce. Although there are different varieties. Avocado is also often used, but I think that's a more recent ingredient

The one I had today was more like a rice bowl with unagi, avocado, edamame, pickled radish, and seaweed salad

I'm as baffled as you are where to find the good stuff. Actually, your area HAS to have it better than mine. I live in like, this weird threshold between a populated area and amish country. I got stock standard fast food minus regional exclusives on one hand and a bunch of traditional homemade country food that people are SO PROUD OF that's just kinda really, really generic and not worth anyone's time on the other. Oh, and indie restaurants in town that have awards and TV show appearances and are SO PROUD OF THEMSELVES and. . .also kinda suck.

. . .You know what's a good amish place around here? A soft pretzel shop. Like, a legit restaurant is completely boring, but the pretzel shop is good at making legit soft and buttery pretzels. And the soft pretzel shop owners somehow know where to source these little metal soda bottles. 10/10 would pretzel.

. . .Please tell me your area can at least 1up pretzels, Pumpkaboo. Plz.

It took some trial and error, but at last...

I won as Mercy in the new Death Battle mode. Mercy is one of the hardest characters to use in a normal Death Battle since she can do nothing except use her Pistol and Glide. Also, playing as Mercy basically tells everyone to go after you. "Mercy has 50 HP left?! Abandon all fights! Get her for free points!"
And this is also without her new Valkyrie Ultimate. In the normal build, she still has Resurrection and basically, I wanted to win at least one death battle with Mercy before her new Ultimate comes out and she becomes good to use in Death Battle. Basically, I had nothing but a pistol, a pair of wings and a heart full of determination. And I have succeeded.

Okay so I just got back from the first football game of the season for my university. My team won 53-6. I scored one of out touchdowns, but I think the real heroes were our defense. My team played better than my least favorite NFL team could ever hope to manage.

Thing got pretty mean while I was gone huh?

Learned Persona 3 doesn't let you control your partyy directly. Wanted to do it for 4 or 5, but heard they had particularly bad AI (Seemed fine for me). Going to be nice to play a game designed around it when it's something I already wanted to try. . . whenever I get to P3 after 4.

Minecraft isn't really indie anymore, though. All of it's skin packs seem to swing outside of NMH's weight class, too.

If we're going for a blockcrafting game, I'll place my chips on Terraria. They have an addiction to collabs and the world is a little more flexible artstyle wise. . .and darker in tone underneath the happy trees. Heck, for that matter you might suddenly see Travis' beam sword show up in Terraria if they went all in.

I think tonight has been the luckiest night I've ever had in FE Heroes.

So I drop in to pick up my free Ike. I don't need a green unit in particular (I actually need blue ones) but I love Ike so I gladly made the decision to get him.

I decide to try a summon and suddenly get the 5 Star Lucina for my first pull.

I now have Brave Heroes Ike and Brace Heroes Lucina in my game.

Clicking the Random button on Reddit is always some of the most strange cross-section of humanity stuff. Somehow found a subreddit for people in sugar daddy relationships, a subreddit dedicated to. . .I think a transgender webcomic of some kind?. . .and somehow against all odds I ended up at the Zelda subreddit. Currently at the stable thinking about life.

But hey, I learned some tips about how to avoid issues with lab mice biting through your glove at the lab subreddit. In retrospect, wearing two gloves at once seems like a surprisingly simple solution. Also apparently black furred mice are kind of aggressive compared to the lab strain we usually think of?

The closest I've even gotten to any kind of "lose faith in humanity" Reddit was when I saw people disturbed at the post history of a troll that randomly hit one of my followed Reddits whining about everyone downvoting them and it turned out they were an incel. Also I think they shaved their girlfriend's cat as revenge for something, which between that and a perverted comment would go a long way to explain things.

Since I take care not to go down rabbit holes I don't want to see the other end of I'm not typically exposed to it, so I just got a couple of chuckles out of the sheer pathetic stupidity that has to spawn that. Yes, I'm the sociopath for having two X chromosomes, of course you don't lack basic social skills sir.
