I remembered a dream I had the other day! Retro confirmed a new Metroid Prime game and you could use a unique kind of weapon: Samus' other arm to punch enemies and knock em 50 feet! Only remember Galactic Federation as mooks and Adam as a training dummy, but I enjoyed that
For those too lazy to click a link, or just can't for some reason
Seems like a nice general result, especially with the Fantasy/Story score. Not that story doesn't matter to me, but if the gameplay overall is still enjoyable, I'm not going to complain much. Probably why, even with their flaws, I still enjoy Skyrim, Fallout, and even Final Fantasy XV.
Although, I don't think story should be that low. But, eh, whatever.
Alright everyone, I'm sorry for dissing Sackboy, it's not right of me to say that about him.
That isn't to say I won't still make a dramatic crack about things man was not meant to know. Most artstyles dismissed by most people are because they supposedly look stupid. There's another matter entirely with the reality warping burlap. Beady dark eyes, stitched skin, drab color. Now what genre would we normally see those in?
I'd rather have Mursame Castle be revived by Platinum than Tecmo Koei, because Kamiya showed interest in Takamaru and I don't think it should be a Warriors game.
I want Tecmo Keoi to Mousou-fy other Nintendo franchises first, like Kid Icarus.
Tho I'd rather have PG* work on something else too, like Bayonetta 3, Jeanne or you know, Kid Icarus.
And that's what I like about Uprising. It stuck with the game's roots of being this quirky adventure in Ancient Greece with a few twists.
Pit literally turns into an eggplant and needs a nurse to cure him. That's something that was never meant to be take serious. And the Tempura Wizard added a little more hilarity and Nightmare Fuel (Pit Tempura is something that I would not want to eat). He's too pure for this world to eaten like that.
The old game only had Takamaru comically die with his legs twitching in the air. I believe that's the only form of comedy while everything is literally trying to kill you. One makes you wonder how can aliens of all things brainwash not only mortal warriors of Japan, but yokai as well. Their technology must be very good in that case. Imagine a brainwashed Jibanyan (Poor nyan).
Fire Emblem Heroes Chapter 6 Part 5, the one where you fight Ryoma, his retainers, and Takumi's retainers was a pretty strategic map for me.
My units going into this battle were Subaki, Lissa, Olivia, and Niles (all of which were level 14).
One unit is trapped within a set of walls against Ryoma, but there is a portion of the wall you can break if you need to get in. Saizo and Hinata are on the left side of the map, while Kagero and Oboro start around the top right. The rest of your units are in the center.
Subaki was the one unit who started within the walls against Ryoma, and let me tell you this: the Sapphire Spear does wonders! Ryoma couldn't land any damage on Subaki because of it, and Subaki finished him off in two turns. He was the easiest unit to take out for me.
Dealing with the ninjas was a bit tougher though. Kagero kept attacking Olivia, while Saizo tried to damage Niles. I remember having to bring Subaki out of the wall following Ryoma's defeat so that he could deal with Oboro. He ended up taking her out with ease, getting little damage here and there while delivering huge chunks at Oboro bit by bit.
While Subaki was attacking Oboro, I had to use Niles to damage Saizo bit by bit. He was taking some hefty damage though, but Lissa was there to heal NIles and even land the finishing blow on Saizo. I had to use Niles to keep pushing Saizo back so that he wouldn't kill Lissa as well. I don't remember how I managed to defeat Hinata though.
When Oboro went down, I had Subaki deliver enough damage onto Kagero so that Niles could land the final blow.
Overall, a fun map.
And I don't know if any here even pays attention to the actual story, but something interesting is brought up after clearing Chapter 6.
Nice! I managed to take out Ryoma first time round in 1 turn, no damage
Sharena and Alphonse talk about their old friend named "Zacharius," and he went missing during one battle.
OK, am I the only one that is starting to think the "Mysterious Man" his actually Zacharius? I mean, that masked individual doesn't have a known name right now, and considering how the game has been hiding his identity thus far, something tells me he could actually be that same Zacharius but was brainwashed by Veronica shortly after he was defeated.
I'm also going to do my fourth complete summoning shortly. Hoping for the best!
Something just occurred to me regarding a theory I came up with about a region from Xenoblade Chronicles X last year...
Warning: A theory by Aetheri
My theory was regarding Sylvalum...no doubt a unique area compared to the other regions in the game...
Noticing the large white structures that surround most of the region as well as the large presence of what appears to be fungi and spores in the area...Of course we also see a lot of bizarre trees with orb-like structures all over the region...
My theory was that Sylvalum is the remnant of a fozzilised "giant tree"...These tall white structures are the remains of the tree's bark, the presence of all the fungi in the area due to the tree's decomposition after it died, as well as the other 'orb trees' which could could be saplings of the original tree....as we can see by the large tree within Sylvalum we can see that they could grow to substantial sizes...
Does the thought of a giant tree sound not familiar? Could this be another possible connection between the games? It would support the notion that X takes place far into the future from the other games which would imply its not as strongly connected...
Thinking of the Orb trees, I wonder if there would be a massive planet-sized orb at the top of the tree in XC2...perhaps this tree is the connection between two planets or worlds...in X it was possible you could go inside of the big orb, at the risk of getting demolished by a large Tyrant residing within it...this Tyrant is rather unique much like Telethia in Noctilum and could similarly have an appearance in XC2 in some way...
Perhaps this planet-sized orb could be the mentioned Elysium in the trailer?
There's so many possible implications if this is indeed the case, though its only a theory keep in mind...
One of my siblings owns the Layton/Phoenix Wright crossover game. Which got her into the Ace Attorney series. Wouldn't be too surprised if she ended up playing the Layton games one day.
Mostly accurate, although I think Fantasy could be higher, Story a bit lower and Action much higher than Social. Otherwise, Creativity, Immersion and Action's Excitement are definitely my high priority list.

I wouldn't mind if Nintendo sent someone to babysit them HARD considering they play fast and loose with characters and that might not always be the best fit for Nintendo, but it's good to keep in mind that pretty skilled, hilarious, and professional people would be open to it if Nintendo was willing to give them a chance. It'd probably the first gaming movie with actual characters in more than a cameo role that would actually get really good reception.
That said, that STILL doesn't guarantee anything, but. . .that's why you babysit, LOL.
Make the weasel's face a bit longer. The way it looks now, it's like a deformed LOLcat. And maybe make his limbs a bit longer. Those are the shortest weasel paws I've ever seen.
Just a little feedback after I've seen your comic on Twitter.

I doubt that would happen, I remember hearing the Alien crew wanted to make a Metroid movie, Nintendo doesn't like nice things happening to their IP when iit comes to other forms of media

I can't really blame them, they let a "nice thing" happen during the 90's and it didn't end well, LOL.
Nintendo said that their movie strategy is to make their movies by themselves and specifically mentioned the Mario Bros movie as to why, but since they're trying more new things lately who knows what will happen someday.

That was old Nintendo though. We're talking new Nintendo. The Nintendo that wants to open up a theme park at Universal. The Nintendo that wants to put their IPs on Smart devices. The Nintendo that is looking to expand their IPs to movies (we just don't know what yet). http://www.theverge.com/2016/5/16/11681150/nintendo-movies-nx-launch-kimishima-interview
I dont think we have, just the announcement of it, the characters, the plot that was on that one screenshot that said Layton went missing, and that was really it, haven't heard much of it since then
Yeah, there hasn't been any Lady Layton news in a while.
Though I remember when Azran Legacy was revealed, we didn't learn about its Japanese release date until about two months before the game came out, and it was around that time period we got the second trailer for that game, so perhaps history could repeat itself.
If you ever wondered why Nintendo is charging for Online
Playstation Plus was introduced sometime around mid 2010. Playstation 4 came out around late 2013
Even before they charged for Online, Sony was seeing gains in sales.
