No joke, as far as mid 2000s live action family Disney films go, it's not bad. It's honestly a pretty clever movie. Like, you wouldn't think so by looking at it, but I remember liking it, and apparently it's gotten a small cult following over the years.

Unlike in the past, I don't think we're going to know any of the unlockables before the release of the final version.

Reading this made me feel saddened and frustrated.

Can't anyone write something with the goal of making people feel happy instead of soapboxing about how joy or the world or people who aren't them are terrible and we should all just feel miserable all the time?

It feels like way too many writers write for the sake of an agenda and not nearly enough write for the sake of just having fun.

As for comedic writing, I think our daily needs for that is well fulfilled by the internet. So that may be why you don't feel an urge to read something funny.

Those plus Magearna (if it isn't some event exclusive) and Goodra and I'll have an all fairy + one dragon team.

That does leave one spot open, though. Might just throw in Gardevoir if there's no other new Pokemon that catches my eye.

I think the thing with humor is that it's not merely fulfilled, but it's subjective enough that much of it falls out of my taste and much of it gets retread.

Humor needs to take you off guard. Once you've been made to watch enough sitcoms though, they stop being funny and just become kind of depressing as the exaggeration loses it's punch and you're left to take the negative situations at face value. Slapstick is a lot better what with how it comes out of nowhere and usually doesn't have long-term stakes, but even then the writing patterns of one medium or another will eventually subconsciously become overly familiar and it may end up feeling stale unless you're lucky enough to discover a new medium with it's own humor tropes.

The internet is essentially a dadaism roulette wheel with humor. I usually won't find it super funny but it definitely has it's moments and it won't leave me feeling crushed the way exaggerated misery on public television does.

A little more consistent of a humor flow might be nice though, even if the new well would likely dry up the same as the others.

Tbh I'm not too crazy about Mimikyu like everyone else, I just want that Ghost/Fairy typing. Which is why I want it to evolve...
I wish Mismagius would've gotten the Fairy type, she was already my favorite Ghost type and it would fit well.

Fairy mushroom though, gotta have that.

Ttube isn't terrible, he just gets carried away with anything he can cover.

And he's just straight up scummy.

He's conned fans out of money, started fights, almost caused suicides, and much more. There's a list that no one knows just how many crimes total he's committed.

I mean if you were that totally depends on the content you create and how you present yourself...there's a lot of 'ditto'ing that goes in the pokemon community on youtube so a lot of poketubers come across as very samey...
