I think the main thing for the NX is that even despite the constantly increasing Nintendo sales slump it seems like Nintendo would have to actively TRY to make insane decisions in order for it to sell outright worse.

And I don't mean "not keeping up with the tech" insane or "not having standard controls" insane. It'll hurt it, sure, but I think people overstate how much it factors into the success of a system. Being similar to Sony and Microsoft is not the ONLY be-all-end-all thing that determines how well a system sells.

I mean "repeat the exact same mistakes as the Wii U" insane. No big launch titles, named as though it's an accessory to an older system, looks just like another casual gaming platform that all the casuals already bought, marketing so dull that a piece of cardboard would better convince one to pick up the system.

The circumstances behind the Wii U's launch were just plain AWFUL.

If these things start cropping up with the NX, then I'll definitely be highly concerned as to Nintendo's sanity and any chances it has. But the Wii U just messed up in such a cornucopia of ways that just the use of mere common sense should make the NX sell at least slightly above it.

That and I have a feeling like the last two years of having no games were essentially one huge sacrifice to the NX. At some point Nintendo just said "You know what? Forget it. This thing is never going to sell." and just started pushing all their in-progress titles to the NX. It makes the Wii U's situation look even more awful, but if you read in-between the lines you can see a game plan in there, and that game plan is essentially "don't repeat the same mistake of having no launch titles twice."

Awwwwwww, I wanted to see them get rekt. He's actually the hardest boss in the game next to the Final Boss for obvious reasons.

I agree that the Tron Gate with Boobs design is actually kind of creepy, yet funny.

"Plains of Hoshido"? Is that the Chapter 6 map?
I'd want the Bottomless Canyon too, since it would likely have a thunderstorm effect but Opera House is my top pick

Yep, "Plains of Hoshido" is the name of the Chapter 6 map. The name is confirmed when you have a skirmish there.

I'm pretty interested in it because there's a lot that can be done. I'd imagine the main platform being the bridge at the center of the map, and perhaps the view of the bridge would be from one side of it. A Dragon's Vein would activate at one point to dry up the river, allowing you to fight in the area beneath the bridge (would also create a walk-off on both sides). There would be Nohrian Lancers fighting Hoshidan Samurais in the background. The royal siblings would also appear as stage hazards, one at a time with a total of two of them showing up in a two minute match. Which siblings appear depend on how many more soldiers from the nation are in the background. More Nohrian Lancers with more Nohrian flags in the ackground means the Nohrian siblings will appear, while more Hoshidan Samurais with more Hoshidan flags in the background means the Hoshidan siblings will appear. The Omega version would take a place on a cliff similar to the one Xander stands on during the first cutscene, and you would see the entire battle taking place in the background.

Bottomless Canyon could make a pretty cool stage too. Someone in another thread I'm a part of thought discussed their idea how it could work by fighting inside the fort (fort would open after a certain amount of time has passed) similar to Luigi's Mansion, perhaps trigger a Dragon's Vein in there to create some effect, and have Hans appear as a stage hazard to break the bridges connecting some of the platforms.

As expected, it's just a glorified HD Sticker Star at best. The only redeeming thing about the game is the visuals. Other than that, I'd rather buy a solid RPG like Tokyo Mirage Sessions over yet another disappointing Paper Mario game appealing to casuals.

Go ahead, hate me if you all will. It's what I personally feel about this game.
