Pew. But I just got out of the bagAnd Fluttershy , get in the bag. =P
Hey everyone, and a belated Merry Christmas from me. Hope you had a good one.
@Shishœ I've finally finished watching Bungou Stray Dogs.
I liked the ending even though it's a bit open in that regard. Guess there's the possibility of a third season in the future. It was a good ending anyway.
Kyouka finally gets accepted into the Agency and turns out the boss can give its members control over their own abilities, which does explain how Atsushi began to control his own tiger powers. All Men Are Born Equal, indeed...
I do feel a bit bad for Francis. In the end, he lost everything he fought for his entire life, but he had to be stopped anyway. And that beatdown was badass. Akutagawa has a lot of potential for more development in the story... Maybe even him could join the Agency. Haha. Time to read the manga, I guess. The following story arc does seem interesting and the new villain looks threatening and working behind the scenes, exploiting the unstable Guild and getting potential new allies from there.
The ending scene with Dazai and the other Port Mafia guy ties this finale into the first episodes, showing how Dazai has changed since Odasaku's death. Really ties everything in this season into one final resolution.
Also, Lovecraft is weird. As expected of Lovecraft.
And Fluttershy , get in the bag. =P
Quick question before I watch it.Johnny just danced through the danger in his review
Who's the other person who picked the right answer(Bisharp)? That's what I'd like to know.So here are the current results from yesterday's featuring favorite arm blade Pokemon:
1st Place: Sceptile - 5 votes
2nd Place: Scyther/Gallade/Bisharp - 2 votes
3rd Place: Kabutops/Mega Garchomp/Escavelier/Kartana - 1 vote
4th Place: Leavanny/Pawniard/Fomantis/Lurantis - 0 votes
The results seem pretty spread out for the most part, but at the moment, Sceptile has a pretty firm lead.

Yes.Quick question before I watch it.
Are there any story spoilers in this review?
Thanks.Yes.
He limitedly shows every area, the last one's name is a spoiler, and an overview of the plot at each chapter including the bosses.
NOW, with the review
I mostly agree, but with... a few points to add.
There's a few things that REALLY dig at me with HGH, and not quite the "gameplay change" sections like Pirate Curse.
First off, the "real" final boss. It looks and fights like its from an entirely different game and just overstays its welcome. ESPECIALLY a shame when Risky's fight is such a damn wonderfully handled thing. And.. this might just be me, but both phases of Tinkerbrain were unintuitive for how you fought it, and not understanding how a boss in a PLATFORMER works raises eyebrows.
Second, the other time you have a boss in such a layout, it's... also very off feeling, alien for Shantae and in a bad way. It's one of few sore spots before the climax.
Third, just.... how useless the Mouse Bite, Spider Venom, and Bat Sonar are..... like... reeaaalllly? The bat in general seems a little pointless but a power up that can only be used in one room, ech.
But, the biggest issue.... is it feels like a few stages and bosses were just cut from production.
Tassel Town feels like Wilbur was supposed to be a "midboss" like Twitch & Vinegar after you climb the tower, with Holly having an actual fight at the end... but no she just kinda happens to disappear at the end of that fight.
I know a "Nega Shantae chapter" was in the kickstarter, but I feel like a one-screen stage and boss was supposed to happen after you complete the dynamo but no it's just handled in a friendship speech.
And... Tinker Brain almost seems like it was intended to be a breather after Risky, which'd send you INTO the Genie Realm (which there is concept art of) for some actually climatic final boss; maybe even the corrupted spirit of Shantae's own mother. HELL, THAT'D APPLY TO THE ENTIRE THING OF "I think your Human Half is stronger than the Genie," from Uncle Mimic.
You've only been gone for like a couple of hours lol.So what did I miss
You seriously caught ALL the Ultra Beasts?Anyone wants to trade a Kartana for a Celesteela?
I've got all four of them babies ready to go.
Hahahaha. You seriously caught ALL the Ultra Beasts?
Azure confirmed as the new Lusamine.
You shouldn't worry about that, I watched the whole first season without getting any of the references and only started to get them when Fitzgerald, Edgar Allan Poe and freaking Lovecraft showed up. I still don't get most of them.Well a Merry Christmas to you t-
Is that a reference to something, honey?
That aside, I think I remember overhearing the concept for that show on here at one point. It sounds interesting, but I'm worried that due to my being too uncultured to likely get many of the inspirations that part of what makes it so crazy would fly over my head if I looked into it. A good show would probably hold up despite that, though, so. . .what sort of tone would you say the series has? Any particular strong points stand out?
I'd like one.Does anyone want some snivys? Im hatching some right now and I wanna know if anyone wants one before I wondertrade them
There's a touch of comedy? You shouldn't worry about that, I watched the whole first season without getting any of the references and only started to get them when Fitzgerald, Edgar Allan Poe and freaking Lovecraft showed up. I still don't get most of them.
It's an action series with some comedy thrown around(it being more played with in season 1 but it tones down for the better later). Imo, the character design is the strongest point for me, from the unique and colorful designs to their varied characterization and their abilities, which are usually a weird interpretation of their book's title. The battles are pretty cool and some have that Jojo-esque style of basically being a puzzle.
First season is pretty boring since its pacing is slow as hell(12 chapters adapted by episode 10. 12 ****ing chapters) so it takes time to get to the real good stuff like Chuuya, episode 10, the start of the Guild arc and shipping.
Basically, when she hacks a Health Kit, the opposing team can't use them and they recharge in 2-3 seconds compared to their usual recharge time. Basically, it can allow your teammates to heal 75 or 250 health very quickly and it messes with opponents since when they try to find a Health Kit that will heal them, they end up finding one that they can't use.Question, I hear a lot about how Sombra in Overwatch can hack Healthkits but for the life of me I can't get a straight answer on what that actually does so can someone clear up what it actually does?
I wouldn't say it's grim and the comedy isn't that present, it's mostly pretty laid-back and even when it does get more serious that tone is still present. There's a touch of comedy?
That's what I like to hear. I wanted to make sure it wasn't anything too grim since all I really knew was the concept, so that definitely makes me more interested.
Knowing I don't have to get the references to enjoy it is definitely good, too.
Thank you for the warning about the first season's pacing, the show seems at least worth looking into sometime if I remember to.
Well, I've got a Kartana deposited on the GTS and I've asked for a non-specific Celesteela in return, but it doesn't look like anyone else will take the offer. How about it?Anyone wants to trade a Kartana for a Celesteela?
I've got all four of them babies ready to go.
Sure, I don't mind.Well, I've got a Kartana deposited on the GTS and I've asked for a non-specific Celesteela in return, but it doesn't look like anyone else will take the offer. How about it?
Oh. Since you don't seem to have any Celesteelas, the trade is now off.Sure, I don't mind.
By friend code is 1375-7346-9605.
Oh crap, what I mean is a Kartana for a Celesteela. I don't have Moon.
Beating him to the punch with his own source:@GoldenYuiitusin, i want to ask something.
A while back i was watching a video about 4 times Miyamoto was a..........errr "*******" (no really, that's what the video is called) and the content of the video was.....well i have my dobuts after giving it a second thought and one part mentions specifically mentions that "Miyamoto demanded Rare to scrap a lot of their work in Dinosaur Planet to turn it into a Star Fox Spin-off that infiuriated Rare so much, they sold themselves to Microsoft and rushed out the game with half of it cut, just to get away out of his reach"
I asked you this question because recently i remember lurking in this thread a while back and if im not mistaken, you mentioned that Rare wasn't opposed to retooling Dinosaur Planet into Star Fox Adventures, and i just wanted to verify it. Sorry if i bother you, thanks.
Paraphrasing, Miyamoto suggested the change and offered the use of the Star Fox characters after noticing Sabre looked an awful lot like Fox. That much is true. However Rare was on board and voluntarily retooled the game accordingly. That comes from Phil Tossell, who was at the time the coding lead on Star Fox Adventures.
I got you.Question, I hear a lot about how Sombra in Overwatch can hack Healthkits but for the life of me I can't get a straight answer on what that actually does so can someone clear up what it actually does?
Furious Paul's Sombra In-depth Strategy Guide said:Mechanics of Hack on Health Packs
Source: https://www.furiouspaul.com/overwatch/sombra.html
- When health packs are hacked, they stay hacked for 60 seconds.
- Hacked health packs cannot be picked up by enemy players, but allies will still be able to pick them up.
- Hacked health packs respawn 3 times faster, which for small health packs would be from 10 seconds to 3.3 seconds and large health packs from 15 seconds down to 5 seconds.
- When multiple Sombras (either from enemy or ally) attempts to hack the same health pack, the player that initialized the hack first will have control over the health pack.
- Hacked health packs will have [an] icon above them, with a visible timer.
All I want is a ditto from another region but everyone is asking for a ditto 91 and over, like whyI've noticed that a lot of people have been requesting a Celesteela through the GTS today.
A shame, if I had more, I would have happily traded them away, I only have one left though (The other one I've traded away for that Solgaleo today.)
Honestly, it's such a rude move that whenever I see it I figure they're probably trolling on purpose. Especially when they ask for Pokemon at levels that they can't even be legitimately obtained at, that's even more rude. Why do people ask for pokemon of certain levels. That's the stupidest thing ever
No idea. Why do people ask for a lvl 91 dittio ffsWhy do people ask for pokemon of certain levels. That's the stupidest thing ever
Maybe they want them for their playthrough and they're already at a certain point? It can also help to make sure the Pokemon is recently caught(so no EVs or changed moves) if asked around the level they appear in the wildWhy do people ask for pokemon of certain levels. That's the stupidest thing ever
The level they always ask for though is 91Maybe they want them for their playthrough and they're already at a certain point? It can also help to make sure the Pokemon is recently caught(so no EVs or changed moves) if asked around the level they appear in the wild
