But the electoral college doesn't help that either, just complicates things and may even allow(and already did) someone to be elected without the majority of the votes
Besides, democracy is about the majority deciding, it may not be perfect but if you're going to adopt it, you might as well use it properly

I disagree, I think that if Sanders were in it wouldn't be the lesser of two evils debate. And you never there's a much more passionate following for Sander's following rather than Clinton's, her being so unpopular in fact helps Trump a lot thanks to her email scandals which makes even some democrats vote for Trump rather than her.

I live in the highly democratic state of California, and yet I haven't seen anyone passionate about her. Most people that do vote for her mostly just vote for her in spite of Trump, I haven't really seen anyone who supports Hillary like they do Sanders. While Trump supporters here at least seem to really love Trump, but most people would still rather have Hillary.(His comments about the Immigrants really enraged a lot of people here especially. While the supporters here want him in to shake up the system.)

I think it would breed elitism which inevitably would create an in group out group dynamic, essentially "Tribalism"

These elite could, and probably would, focus on their own self interest. Especially if the elite cause an "echo chamber" environment (Surrounding themselves only with those that share their own opinion. This is especially easy to form since the majority is always going to be having their way in the government.

This will prevent other ideas from being shared, and actually stunt progress, both socially and even technologically.

It was a pretty neat level. The time concept caught me off guard.

Alolan Dugtrio is Ground/Steel?
Errr...I would've thought Ground/Fire since it's made of lava but ok, sure...kinda of a better typing at least but still pretty underwhelming...

I kinda figured Golem would be Rock/Electric though based on it's design...I'm thinking the explanation for it's beard is not to unlike Probopass's moustache, correct?
And the fact that it gets a STAB version of Explosion is kinda terrifying...

As for the other pokemon...

Salandit is combee 2.0 but at least a bit better due to it's more useful typing and ability...Salazzle isn't the greatest name but I want to see it in action at least...

Golisopod...Sick name!!...Likely derived from the giant Goliath himself which suits this beast...I'm fine with it retaining the water type, as I expected...but that ability at least some of it's movepool compliments it in a way...

Bubbles Spiders or whatever they're called also Bug/Water...this is great because Bug/Water was one of those type combinations I wanted to see more of because it should be a common typing, but poor little Surskit was sitting there all alone now he's got a water spider and a giant isopod to chill with!!^^

Anchor Grass/Ghost (again) and may as well be Steel with that ability (minus the resistances)...I was thinking it would have some combination of Ghost, Water, Steel and Grass....turns out it almost has three of the above...

I noticed a whole lot of confusion on the exclusivity of Icetales, Snowslash, Falkor and Bomb turtle...can anyone clear that up?

Crabomable...As expected it gains the Ice type...making it the only new non-alola form Ice type...At least it's a new typing but the last pokemon I'd expect to get that typing is a crab...

Minior doesn't get Flying type moves from level up....lol

Kommo-o doesn't get any fighting type moves from level up....WHAT?! and they got rid of the Power-up Punch TM too...that sucks...can it at least get Close Combat and such from Egg Moves? better yet can it learn Poison Jab and/or Iron Head and/or pretty much anything to deal with Fairy types at least...

Marshadow has an awesome typing plus Technician as an ability? Does it get Shadow Sneak Mach Punch at least?
Based on these leaks we got Ghost/Fighting, Fighting/Ice, and Rock/Electric for the first time narrowing down our unused typings list even further....Still no Normal/Ghost, Bug/Dragon, Dark/Fairy, etc...

and it seems people bandwagoned back to Decidueye because now everything is slow anyways....(yet they buffed Electrode's speed for some reason)

Pyukumuku is also **** now...
