Pokken Tournament: New Playable Pokemon and Gameplay Details Revealed
On Januray 23rd, Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu Monthly streamed details of the upcoming Pokemon fighting game, Pokken Tournament. They revealed 3 new playable Pokemon, Gardevoir, Pikachu and Suicune and showed off some live gameplay for the first time. The game lets the Pokemon run around in full 3D launching ranged attacks, but once someone lands a close combat melee attack, the game tightens up to a more traditional 2.5D fighter similar to Street Fighter or Tekken. They also showed Support Set Pokemon, were you can summon other Pokemon such as Lapras or Snivy to come launch an attack and aid in battle. 2 Super Smash Bros Games Make the EVO 2015 Lineup
On January 20th, Joey “Mr. Wizard” Cuellar announced the game lineup for EVO 2015 on Twitch. Super Smash Bros for Wii U was confirmed first and Super Smash Bros Melee was confirmed later during the stream. In an interview with Shoryuken, Mr. Wizard was asked if Super Smash Bros Melee could potentially beat Marvel vs Capcom 2's record for most EVO appearances. He responded by saying :
Nintendo Closes down Club Nintendo
In sad news, Nintendo has announced that it will shutting down its Club Nintendo customer loyalty program on March 30th, 2015. They've said that it will be replaced with a new program, but no details about that have been revealed yet.

Punch-Out (Wii) Now Available on the Wii U eShop
The classic Wii game starring Super Smash Bros Newcomer, Little Mac, is now available for download on the Wii U eShop! Help Little Mac achieve his dream of becoming a Major Circuit boxing champion by TKOing all who stand in his path! Punch-Out is on sale for $9.99 US from now until January 29th, so get it soon before it goes back up to its regular price of $19.99 US. The game will require a Wii remote and Nunchuck to play.
