This is a horrible disappointment. You don't actually "get" a demo, a Nintendo rep will show up and let you have a hands-on session. No one actually takes the game home. #FaithInHumanityBrokenAgain

Yep. Not only do you only get a limited window to play the demo on their 3DS, but you have to be there to do so, so no shoops!

I may be in Cali, but as someone who doesn't use Twitter or gets to travel to places at all, it makes me sad especially when knowing this event is happening in my state. At least give us free eshop demos. Idc if it was Smash Run or single player FFA only, I just want to get the feel of the game for once before it's released. I need more Pit data, too!

That is because there is barely games on the Wii U, so there is barely demos as well.

They'll have to put it on the eShop. Pretty much every first party major release has had a demo.

A good amount of people at Comic-Con got this. They reported what people first thought was true: its a download code for the demo to keep forever.
