This would probably have been noticed more if it wasn't for the Gematsu leak causing people to consider Chrom as guaranteed, while also discounting the possibility of 4 FE reps. I certainly wasn't expecting more than 3, and assumed that Lucina could only get in as a Marth reskin.

This was noticed but many wrote it off as nothing due to the appearance of certain characters. (Tom Nook, Isabelle, Pikmin, NES Mario, and Toad.)
