I'm out. Habs are done and I don't really like any of the other teams so this is a disappointment.

Prust is a joke and the NHL higher ups should rot because they arent doing so well in preventing injury to their players.
Prust deserves more than the 2 game suspension. Fines, longer suspension. Hits like that ON ANYONE should not be tolerated and players should definitely be warned on that.
Stepan is out with a broken jaw.

Sorry Lokii I <3 you but I've always considered the Rangers a joke, as well as a bunch of Montreal players. Most of them aside from Carey Price.

Well, game 5 of the finals will be played in a couple nights. I'm a Blue Jackets fan and I was excited to see them make the playoffs for only the second time in team history. I was really hoping they would win the Stanley Cup and bring it to Ohio. I guess that was unrealistic, because we ended up losing to the Penguins, the team I dislike the most out of our new division rivals. I especially have no love for Crosby.
I was rootin for the Jackets; Rangers and Jackets fans usually seem to get along well since our teams seem to be each others farm systems lol
Rangers are really awesome like that...idk...they have a great social media presence and theyre a team you cant really count out. and i mean, the kings did that to the sharks...why not us?

I think it works well. A lot of old rivalries were preserved from the previous format (with the notable exception of Chicago-Detroit), and has given rise to new rivalries like Buffalo-Detroit (look at a map of Southern Ontario and you'll see that both teams are on opposite ends of that part of the province), Columbus-Pittsburgh, and Minnesota-Winnipeg. Not to mention the baseball-influenced Boston-Tampa Bay rivalry.

dad has a business trip to chicago next month, so he is taking my mom and I with him for the weekend. Got us tickets to the hawks vs the red wings. Awwwww man i am soooo excited. my first big league game besides the blue jackets (i love you guys but seriously step up the pace. we need a winning ohio team!!)
