I love hockey, and the NHL is my favorite pro sports league, (with MLB close behind), so it's disappointing to see no active hockey thread on here. Especially with the playoffs starting very soon.

I've been a Bruins fan for years, and they're kicking ass again this year.

Please tell me I'm not the only one into the NHL here. Though, I guess there's a reason the last thread died...

I like the NHL, only sport I watch, especially the fights.

The B's are my number 1 team in all of sports, followed by the Royals.

Rangers and Hawks are my teams

I live in Pittsburgh for school but i dislike the pens due to being from cleveland

I think a lot of people dislike the Pens. Like, a lot.

i only half agree

i just like to give my bostonian friend crap because hes a huge bruins fan

and i watched last year as my hawks took them down and laughed at my friend's expense

though, they are a good team. not my favorite style of hockey tho

I hate to say it but it's not that unlikely. Bruins don't do well against the Habs.

But the games are always fun.

Honestly I'm just sad that the Blue Jackets lost. I was pulling for them, almost as much as my Bruins...

To be fair, there are asshole fans for every team. Though I agree, there seem to be a lot more asshole Bruins fans.

also +2 for Lokii (and another +1 for baseball nonsense): Rangers AND Hawks recording wins for round 2. Sad tickets fell through for tomorrow tho : / but, ill just watch games from the safety of my house and away from the Pens fans haha
(and Indians broke a 6 game losing streak to SLAUGHTER the sox. 5 run first inning GGGGGGGG)

I'm just hoping the Penguins get destroyed and embarrassed please and thank you.

Also screw the Bruins. They won but didn't deserve it. The first two periods they looked like the ****ing Pacers. Didn't even want to win, it seemed. If they don't get their act together I'm just gonna drop them until next season and support Minnesota until they get swept by the Hawks...

Even though you don't religiously follow it, would you have been really disappointed if the Coyotes ended up relocating? Or just kinda indifferent to it?

I would have been pretty indifferent. I grew up with Coyotes after I moved out here from the East Coast but these days I just like the team.

Fair enough. I admit, I was secretly hoping for the relocation to happen, but I'd feel bad for the fans there that love their hockey team. I remember seeing an article about Thrashers fans actually holding a wake for their team once it moved. That kinda made me sad, lol.

No, no props. Honestly if it was my decision I'd say that neither team deserves the win. Boston didn't give a damn for two periods, and for the Habs to allow them to get back in it so easily is just pathetic. They were up by two goals and dominating a team that wasn't even mentally in the game. It should've been an easy win for Montreal.

Ducks, yeah. The Kings are good but I think the main reason they won is because San Jose are better choke artists than the Texas Rangers. The Ducks will be just as tough to beat, but they won't choke. It'll be a close series, though.

Well I want the Habs to win, because they're Canadian and not Boston. Besides, next cup is their 25th.
