O_o

Pokemon can't catch Pokerus by breeding... Pokerus is actually a GOOD thing.

Besides, why would the Pokemon be in the Day-Care center if it wern't for getting eggs?

Speaking of which, it confuses mii how a mammal like Donphan doesn't give birth to live young. I mean, not all Pokemon are reptiles, amphibians, or birds.

I just realized...

Poor, ThunderPunchless Metagross...

It'd be cool if there was a Lightningrod item... All Electric attacks would hit the Lightningrod instead of the holder.

Wait! I know what you're thinking. Gyarados would become Uber. How about the Lightningrod only works one time?

that would be cool. we could have an item like that for ALL types. (like the berries)
If there were berries that prevented damage once, then the berries that lowered the damage taken from a SE attack would be useless. I mean, it's better to prevent the damage than to still get hit, even though the damage is less.

Maybe the reducing berries could be used 2-5 times or something.

First, the Noble Paw. When held, any Pokemon in battle caught with an AR is Frozen for the rest of the battle. (Ice-types fall asleep.)

White Leaf: Evolves Shuckle into Stegacon.
Noble Paw would unfair for some people. Some people use AR just to get their Pokemon faster, while making sure they're still legit. Like mii, some people are lazy and don't want to take the time to breed for a good Pokemon.

Maybe that item could work if the Pokemon that used a flinch move while holding that item:

1) Their Speed is halved, so they can't go first and flinch. (But they're still faster than the somehow moving Spiritomb (or any slow Pokemon, for that matter) who has, like, no legs and doesn't float or anything. How can it have a Speed of more than 0?)

or...

2) When the Poke uses a flinch move, it takes 3/4 of the damage inflicted to the flinched Poke.

Yay or Nay?

Neon String: A bright string that, when held by jigglypuff, raises the sp. atk stat.

Hidden purpose: Raising jigglypuff's speed as well

Why Neon String?: Jigglypuff, the balloon pokemon.

Anyone remember the brick piece?

Brick Piece: a strange brick. Sell high.

So, how would you get the Neon String?
How do you get a light ball? :chuckle: Everyone should know that jigglypuff is secretely Pokemon's real mascot! Give it its own special item for puff's sake! Cubone, Marowak, Farfetch'd, and pikachu are all lame pokemon given special items to boost them up so why not jigglypuff as well?

EDIT: While I'm still semi-nostalgic,
Silver Leaf and Gold Leaf: A strange gold/silver colored leaf.
New Purpose: ???
Can anyone think of a new purpose for the Leaves?

I'm not ecstatic about breaking the peace, but what is Snuckie supposed to be?

Wait, is it an accidental misread of Shuckle's name?
You'd have to ask mood4food...if he ever shows up again...

I'll use Pokemon Gold as an example.

If you had the Gold Wing, then if you went to the Tin Tower, you could find Ho-Oh at the top. Once you got the Silver Wing, you could go to the Whirlpool Islands and find Lugia.

Those leaves could work with the exclusive legendaries.

How would a pokemon. How could a pokemon hold a full course meal?

Mystery gift: A mysterious wrapped box. Only a pokemon could open it.
These could be found in random places all over the place and held by wild delibird(now it ain't as useless:chuckle:). When they are held by a pokemon, the game will go to an evolution type screen and it will randomly give you an item. Will it be a potion? Maybe an ether. Or maybe a Master ball O_O. Rare berry anyone? Maybe some of the items featured in this idea thread>_>.

Icy incense instead of sub zero

cause the other items are incenses...why not that one

but really, the main purpose of incenses are for breeding

Stone Armor: Raises defense but cuts attack and speed
I think this is an interesting item. As long as it's not too good.

Flame Wings: Evolves Rapidash to Pegarush
An evolved form of Rapidash? And it's like a Pegasus? I like ^_^

I'd like to see items that help out weaker Pokemon but have little to no effect on better Pokemon. Like if the average of the Pokemon's base stats is less than 70 or 60 or something, it gets a slight boost. Not to make it great, but to help it out a little bit.
