I'm surprised you guys are taking this "Next Gen Ideas" thread to the extreme. Keep it up. :bigthumbu I like see people with endless amounts of enthusiasm.

OK, let's look over things people had a lot of attention for:

Arbosaur is the evolution of Venusaur.

Charagon is the evolution of Charizard.

Togunner is the evolution of Blastoise.

I suggested Delta Pokemon, and the idea died.

Fantarmor is the Steel/Ghost evolution of Bannette. IC3R made a pic of it.

Zook suggested evolutions of Dunsparce (Levisparce), Luvdisc (Malisc), and Farfetch'd (Aut'Thaer). Only Aut'Thaer got a significant amount of attention, but Zook made a pc of Malisc.

Pluxie is a fairy Pokemon. Lilitrick is it's pre-evolution.

Arachaos is an Ariados evolution.

Conner showed us his thought on the legendary trio, and made Wyveruno and Wyveroeru. MysticKenji made up Wyverama. Conner then came up with Wyveriiku.

Modellura is the evolution of Jynx.

MysticKenji created Syor, the region of this stuff.

Mainly, IC3R, MysticKenji and Terywj are the ones that post on here frequently and come up with ideas. I, Wii4Mii, and Conner post on here occasionally, and Zook and mood4food post on here a couple of times a week, maybe not even anymore.

Wii've come quite far.

Until wii meet again,

Thanks to Terywj, anything that has to do with new attacks and/or abilities can go in the thread he created, unless a Pokemon has a signature attack or ability, which you can post.

This thread will probably be more organized now.

No prob...

Well, look on the map!

*Looks at map*

Ummm...some of them don't make sense to me :

Sol (Sun)? Cross? What's Hidenos?

Next task--decide on Gym Leader names, type theme, underlings, and Pokemon.

I say use a goth chick for Lunos Gym, call her Nodoka (I love that name), I think she uses Dark types; I am dead sure I'm wrong on the type theme...but it was the only thing that made sense to me. Lunos-->Moon-->Night-->Darkness-->Dark

Hehe...I was...
Hidenos: Hidden
Cross: Ever see graves with a cross on them?

Gym Leaders
1. ??? Type: Psychic
2. Lili Type: Grass
3. Aiden Type: Fire
4. Lorelei (from RBY) Type: Ice
5. Shade Type: Dark
6. ??? Type: Bug
7. ??? Type: Ghost
8. Silver (from GSC) Type: Mixed

Wii4Mii, I still need your team.

1) Don't be like Celebi! And use a different name. Faith would fit in there nicely.
2)He could use Squirasite.
3)I like that name, but little girl? It's the final gym leader, dude!

Whoops, sorry about that. Will anyone comment on my Sqiudy and Squirasite?
Will they be Walls like Tentacruel/Tentastroy?

*Looks at Stats*

****! Something else that's gonna be a pain to take down...I like that you revived the one-time-used Bug/Water combination.

Stamping your library books.
Sorry for the absense. But I made an Octillery evo!

Octank (Octopus + tank)
Water/Steel
Traits: Suction Cups/Sniper
Base Stats:
Hp-110
Atk-110
Def-80
Spd-30
SpAtk-145
SpDef-80

A bigger octillery, with angry eyes, 4 tentacles outstreched and rolling on suction cups like a take, and an Octillery 'gun' on each tentacle. Asides from Octillery's moves, Octank also learns Shadow Ball, Dark Pulse, Iron Defense, and Recover.

That's a bit too high... 565? Take it down to 530 or something.

Let the Water/Steel Empire be noticed at this moment : Empoleon, Torgunner, and Octank, go out and claim this realm!!!

But seriously, good idea!

well here's a new poke for ya'll, a shuckle evo

snuckie
bug/rock
same abilities as shuckle
HP-75
ATK-10
DEF-240
SP.ATK-75
SP.DEF-240
SPD-30

i know, 670 BST total, but it's movepool won't be that great, it's just there for tanking, i mean, i gave it a huge boost in HP and SP. ATK to actually have a purpose, but it maybe too much of a boost

evo, evolves when learns rock tooth (new attack, learned by level up at 35)

Tyranitar and Hippowdon bring out infinite Sandstorm. Abomasnow brings out infinite Hail. There are no Pokemon that bring out infinite Sun or Rain that arn't Uber. How about these for the infinites:

(insert name here)
Ability: Drought

Looks like a smaller, less intimidating Groudon (but still looks cool)

HP: 80
Atk: 115
Def: 110
SpAtk: 80
SpDef: 75
Spd: 75

Base Stat Total: 530

Learns all moves Groudon can.

Kyogre's is pretty much a smaller, less intimidating Kyogre and kinda looks like a shark. Also learns all move Kyogre can.

HP: 80
Atk: 80
Def: 75
SpAtk: 115
SpDef: 110
Spd: 75

I don't know if anyone's responded to this yet, as I haven't read the pages in between. Lol. But I'd just like to point out, yes, Sandstream and Snow Warning grant indefinite weather conditions, but one has to keep in mind that the sun and rain grant much more power than either sand or hail. While a free level of Special Defense sounds broken and indeed does make things like Cradily neigh impossible to kill, it pales in comparison to the possibilities revolving around sun and rain.
Halving the power of certain (possibly super effective) moves, doubling speed for many, additional leftovers for Ludicolo, modified accuracy for the Electric attack with the highest base power in the game (half/double), affecting the effectiveness of certain healing moves and Solarbeam, and adding additional STAB to likely already STABbed attacks...
Not to mention a slew of minor and usually unapplicable details that apply to Dewgong, Sunflora, Cherrim, Toxicroak, Manaphy, Castform, and Roserade. These far outweigh the consequences of 1.5x SpDef and 100% accuracy of Blizzard. Although I must admit Sand Veil and Snow Cloak get frustrating sometimes.

Wow...you write almost as much as me on some occasions ...But I've been thinking of the lesser Groudon and Kyogre:

"Baby" Groudon - Erthin
Earth + in (another preposition)

"Baby" Kyogre - Umiblin
Whenever someone pronounced Kyogre's name s/he says it like "kai'o'ger" (kai is Japanese for "shellfish", WTF?, and ogres are big ugly thingies). So, I made the name go off the stupid American pronunciation, combining Umi (Japanese for "sea") and Goblin (Smaller, uglier ogres).

Oh yeaah...Sorry 'bout that, dude. It just kinda dawned on me when outofdash brought it up. Good names, though, right? *nudge, nudge; wink, wink*
I suppose so...

Anyway, Anubicario is now a legendary. I'm giving him +20 to his Defenses and +10 to Speed giving him 650 total. He's caught at Mt. Night after beating the Champ. (Wii4Mii, I still need your team...or should I take one off one of your RMTs?)

No, it's pronounced "kai'o'ger". Watch the anime.

This isn't a pronounciation thread. If the pronounciation of a Pokemon's name concerns you that much to post it on here, then go knock yourself out and make a thread about it.

No thanks...

For the topic, what levels will our Pokemon be (Elite Four + Champ)? Personally, I think we should go with 50+. That way, we're scary, but we're not unbeatable. Just really really really tough, like in R/B/Y...

Everybody find your team, edit it for levels, natures, EVs, items (I/A) and attacks according to your battling style...and re-post them. 'Kay?

And remember : We have to be beatable!!! If it's possible:chuckle:

Kenj, Jawile for Mawile evo. Plasma backwards...alright...
