Hey guys,
I just wanted to share a project I have been working on. These renders were created in Maya for an april fools joke I did for a gaming site I contribute to frequently (www.projectcoe.com). My goal this summer is to model a racetrack that I can actually animate this, as well as a few other ships, racing through and create a mock-up of a next-gen f-zero game.

Well it looks really good so far. I don't know what else to say, so, keep up the good work.

Aaahhhh... yes.

FALCON PAWNCH!

Please continue this. I anticipate so much now that I've seen your incredible work and attention to detail in every bit. Seriously, this is fantastic.

I can only hope that is what the Blue Falcon looks like. o_O Good job! O_O
Thanks! glad you like it.

On a side note, these images were rendered on fairly complex pipeline so I am not entirely sure if they Wii would be able put out this kind of polygon count and texture resolution at the insane speed F-Zero runs. I have hope though. Resident Evil, GX, the Rouge Squadron series and Soul Calibur II really pushed the gamecube hardware, so we'll if a new F-Zero game will push the wii to the max.

You're welcome. And, as long as it even comes close to Super Mario Galaxy, that's perfect. :bee:
