Pitch perfect, Knightly edition!

Solaire of Astoria.

Solaire is a helpful knight in the Darksouls universe, and one of the most recognizable faces from Dark Souls. Heavyweight, lack good burst movility due to his armor. yet the character explore and alternate form of mobility due to being able to walk on shield. he mounts a good defense to search for openings to strike his adversaries. Akin to dark souls, patience and analisis is rewarded. He also have a special attack, Riposte, that is avaiable after perfect shield to synergize with his shieldplay. Access to a slow estus flask to recover Percentage means that he cant be just camped from afar. powerful aerials but bad air movility means that he wants to secure higher ground to land devastating attacks. Shield management also simulate dark souls Stamina Management.

Theme: Bulkwark, Bait and punish.

Nightmare.

Sword fighter from the souls calibur series. His massive sword have a good range, and even if attacks have long startup, they also have little endlag so he can keep the pressure. after executing different tilts and smash attacks he can keep the button pressed in order to access different stances in the ground (super armor grounded stance, projectile defense stance, low startup high endlag stance and dashing stance) his grounded moves footwork also move him so he can stay mobile while attacking. access to a slow and long command grab on side b to mix up shield pressure. unique perfect shield, parry. upon parry a windbox puts some extra distance giving him a little more time to ready an attack. balanced with weak offstage game to simulate ring outs.

Theme: Middle distance pressure zoner.

Shovel Knight.

Treasure hunter knight, his short stature shouldnt be taken lightly. akin to toon link, the combination of a disjoint on his trusty shovel and a variety of relics make him a very versatile zoner. relics can give him more movements options as well as air stalling, and also a couple of projectiles. great air movility but overall less mobility than toon link, with a suboptimal dash. his projectiles can cover a great variety of angles, but their setups uses are limited (unlike pacman or Tlink). Good recovery and landing options. can ensure a savy player can live long for shovelry.

Theme: mobile safe zoner.

Lycanrock

Alolan Pokemon to represent the seventh generation, and the first rock pokemon to enter smash. even if it possess 3 forms, the dusk form is chosen due to marketeability and access to the other 2 formes skills. Great mobility in the form of a powerful dash and Side special Signature move Accelrock (similar to pikachu's quick attack) and overall low range low damage quick moves. The exception being Slow but powerful smashes with great range (whereit materializes sharp minerals to attack) It have a Special projectile and set up on Stealth Rock (neutral B) where it leaves 3 sharp rocks in place limiting enemies movement, and upon reactivation, Lycanrock can recall these rocks that becomes projectiles that travel towards Lycanrock, using them to cover its powerful but slow attacks or to trap enemies into followups. Down B due to consistency.

Theme: Light agile trapper.

Simon Belmont

Simon Belmont Simon Belmont Simon Belmont (Simon Belmont). Simon Belmont Simon Belmont, Simon Belmont.

We should get Revolver Ocelot just so we can experience the thrill of having to reload during battle.

What a thrill...

Ooh ooh ooh! Lemme try some!

Maxwell
Never has any Smash character had anywhere near as much moveset potential as Maxwell. With his notebook, Maxwell can create any object he wants. In the Scribblenauts series, you're encouraged to create the randomest of objects, making them even more random with the power of adjectives. Maxwell can bring his seemingly endless arsenal of wacky creations to life, whether it's a cat-shooting rock, a large feisty rainbow spoon, or even an electrical lycanthropic feverish cockroach. His attacks all have different properties to them.

Theme: Unpredictability

Bugzzy
Bugzzy can easily be marked as an oversized insect; one that likes to throw his weight around. Using his wings for mobility, Bugzzy fights with wrestling moves, proving that he's a tough bug. He uses his large pincers to trap and damage his foes. He can also spawn his tiny beetle friends, creating more insects to worry about.

Theme: Grappling Insect

Daitoryo
Did you know Nintendo wasn't always a video game company? It started off making playing cards, and Daitoryo was the first character to appear on them. That officially makes him the first Nintendo character. Strongly representing his series, he uses other Hanafuda cards to help him out. He brings the cards to life and uses them for ranged attacks. For even more range, he uses other non-video game Nintendo products, like long ramen noodles, or even a whole taxi to drive in.

Theme: Ranged Throwback

Kat & Ana

These two little girls aren't ordinary kindergarteners: they're ninjas, and they take their ninja skills to the next level in Smash Ultimate. Formerly an Assist Trophy, Kat & Ana got promoted to playable character status for this game. They are small, fast, and can hit hard with sword attacks. They don't just use swords however, as they also have other ninja staples at their disposal like nunchucks and throwing stars. They are also a two in one fighter and behave somewhat like the Ice Climbers.

Theme: Fast Melee Combat

Fi

Fi, the Spirit of the goddess sword, has shown an interest in joining Smash Ultimate with Link. Fi is a fast, agile character, but is extremely light due to her floaty nature. Taking a page from Hyrule Warriors, she takes to the Battlefield like a dance floor, gracefully attack enemies with a flurry of kicks and spins. Some Standard moves will have her transform briefly into the goddess sword increasing her attack range considerably. Her Specials can give her buffs, a repelling magic circle, and her Down Special allow her to transform into the goddess sword for an unlimited amount of time, until you transform back or take too much damage, as well as allows your teammate to wield her like an item in doubles.

Theme: Shapeshifting Weapon, Agile/Graceful Fighter, Unique item support in doubles.

Tetra

Avast, ye Landlubbers, this Seafaring lass needs no permission to come aboard to Smash Ultimate, savvy? As a semi-clone of Link, Tetra comes baring arsenals from her ship and (although she won't admit it) from Link. She a fast, light, agile fighter, with a knack for swordplay, bombs and other pirate weaponry. With her trusty Flintlock pistol as her Neutral B Special, she can rapidly fire a torrent of water bullets, or charge her pistol fully and hold/cancel the charge till later. Her Side B has her use a cannon to attack far off foes, she can even hit the cannon to send it rolling towards foes. Her throws uses a catapult like the one on her ship, making them quick and powerful.

Theme: Swashbuckling close range fighter, Long range pirate weaponry, fast grappling game.

Cecil Harvey

The king of Baron, Cecil brings his sword and magic skills to the battlefield. He can switch between Dark Knight and Paladin with his Down Special. The Dark Knight form is stronger on the ground and uses slow but powerful moves while the Paladin form is stronger in the air and uses quick multi-hitting moves with less range. Of couse, the two classes have different visual effects. Knowing when to switch between the two classes is the key to mastering Cecil.

Vaati

The second-most-prominent villain of the Zelda series after Ganon himself, having made three appearances so far. Vaati is a wind mage who has also dabbled in electricity and petrification magic, and is also capable of wielding a sword, as he won a sword fighting tournament at the beginning of his most prominent role, The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. Vaati would fight using a mix of sword swipes, magical bolts, beams, and spikes, and his signature wind magic; his damage-dealing abilities would be among the weakest in the roster, but he would make up for it with various wind-based attacks that blow his enemies away — literally. This makes him excellent at keeping enemies at a distance, launching them off the stage, or preventing them from returning to the stage. His smash attacks in particular can blow enemies in the direction of his choosing regardless of where they are on the screen, though they have substantial lag and a cooldown on their wind-blast effects to counter this.

Adeleine & Ribbon

Adeleine, the painter girl from Kirby 64, has the ability to summon whatever she draws: her moveset is full of references of Kirby characters and games. Additionally, she has a couple of tools that allow her to keep the enemy at a distance. Ribbon (fairy) lets Adeleine use the crystal as a weapon or even as a veichle. This character has long range powerful attacks but she's physically weak; to balance this, she fights in an elusive way.
Theme: Summoner; Vulnerable but elusive

The doggy diva comes all the way from the Littlest Pet Shop to join the battle. She will use a unique fighting style, utilizing fashion accessories, her singing voice, and more. She is a quick fighter with a recovery to watch out for, and can throw out fast and hard-hitting combo attacks. However, she is quite light, so make sure she launches easily. Her attacks should be graceful and elegant. She will be this game's surprise character.
Theme: Showy, over-the-top Combo Fighter

Lanky Kong:

DK Island's hairy harlequin, and the twisted twig of the Kong family tree! Despite only performing stand-up for two titles in the greater Donkey Kong lineage, this orangutan has gained a cult-following by way of his hammy mannerisms & air-headed antics. The flexible fella is a klutzy, yet friendly samaritan who lives by the phrase "anything for a laugh". This shows in his pocket o' props, including his rapid-fire grape blowgun, which, by holding "B", can somehow miraculously spawn a cream pie, a rubber duck, or even an explosive orange on occasion. That's not even mentioning his finely-tuned trombone, which can either deafen his "audience" or slip em' up with water. ( :ohwell: 'beats me how he does this stuff...)
Lanky also fancies himself a balloonist, but not in the way you might think. No, the fittingly aloof ape can inflate his gut to make extra jumps, as well as recover by drifting gently to the sky, atleast until he's "popped", to which he'll wildly flail around the stage, liable to ram anyone on his trip down. Then, of course, there are his signature elastic arms, which he makes good use of in his jab, grab, aerials, joy-buzzer forward smash & most notably, his side special, a grappling maneuver that can about-face to a playful tickle.

Y'know folks, by all accounts, this shouldn't be happening. A clueless comedian whose idea of a dash attack is pratfalling, sitting in the ranks with warriors, monsters, bounty hunters & boxing champions? Alas, Master Hand revels in the unorthodox. Lanky's style is non-existent, & his lack of grace leaves much to be desired, but really, who could hate such a funny face? Besides, he's happy to do a handstand when needed (grounded up-B)
