For all those who want them in the game, there has been found a solution.
I made this to show you guys my idea, NOT to make a mock up of any kind.

It could work, but yes, Falco's Reflector combo's would be gone. Press down B to
make the Starwing fly by swiftly and pick you up, as it ships another fighter to
the battlefield.

I could see the final Smash now, they ship back, and another fighter jumps out
of a slightly different Starwing; It's Wolf!

Well, bare with me as this is a mere suggestion. Hahaha.

Ah, nice positive feedback ; D

Well, anyways, just a suggestion.

And I called it Starwing since its referring to the type
from the old Starfox game called Starwing.

Well, Im not that Starfox orientated, I prefer the Mario universe.

Thanks for your time though. :p

Their called Arwings. Starwing is probably from the NOT Star Fox game ENTITLED Star Fox, while not being part of Star Fox.

Falco needs to stay and keep his reflector, since that is Falco's BIG WIN.

Falco won't be a team character. That's like when people thought Diddy and Dixie would be a team.

I would like to play as Slippy though. He'd be a good joke character. He'd be the Pichu of the Star Fox series.

I read this idea earlier, and immediately though that it was a great idea. It would allow Falco to return to the roster, while also allowing Peppy and Slippy to be playable in the game. I just spent a good amount of time creating a moveset for them and how they would work, so here it is:

Choosing the character you start with:
By default, you will always start the match with Falco, though by holding the A or B button before the beginning of the match, you can switch to either Slippy or Peppy before it begins, similar to how you can immediately switch to Shiek when you choose to play as Zelda.

Opening Intro: All 3 characters’ Airwings fly in front of the stage, and the character you chose to begin the match with leaps out of their Airwing onto the stage. The 2 other Airwings then fly offscreen.

All three characters would share the following move:

Up B: Airwing lift: The current active character calls for an Airwing for support, and become resistant to attacks before the Airwing appears, similar to Ike’s Aether move. When the Airwing appears from offscreen, the current active character grabs hold to the bottom of it as it begins its ascent. As the Airwing moves up, it can damage any character that it comes in contact with. If an opposing character damagess the active character that is holding onto the bottom of the Airwing, the character will let go, but can use their Up B again to connect the other character flying offscreen in their Airwing. When the Airwing reaches its maximum height, the cockpit opens up, and the character that is holding onto the bottom of the Airwing jumps in, while the character that was previously flying it jumps out. This character cannot use any jumps after exiting the Airwing until they touch part of the stage below them.

While each character would share the same Up B move, the remainder of their special attacks would be different from one another:

Falco: Falco will play similar to how he did in Melee, but gains a new forward B move, as well as making some modifications to his Down B move.

B: Blaster: Same as in Melee

Forward B: Homing Launcher: Falco launches a missle that will home in on opposing enemies. If it misses the enemy on the first pass, it will turn around and attempt to hit the enemy again, but will explode after 3 seconds after it turns around. The Homing Launcher will appear “magically” when used, such as Diddy’s peanut guns do, to prevent from affecting Falco’s stats(as keeping a missle launcher on his back throughout the match would greatly affect his jumping, speed, and weight).

Down B: Barrier Shield: Works similarly to Fox’s Reflector, but is larger and in the shape of a circle. It will only damage other characters for only a second after it is used, but will still protect Falco from projectiles and taking damage. If enough damage is done to the shield, it will break, and cannot be used again until a member of team Starfox is KO’d.

Slippy: Slippy would rely on his technological devices to fight in the Smash arena. He would be slower than Falco and also would not jump as high, but would weigh more to make up for it.

B: Grenade: Slippy tosses a grenade. If it connects with an enemy, it will explode on impact. If it does not hit an enemy, it will explode after about two seconds from when it was thrown.

Forward B: Gatling Gun: Similar to Fox’s blaster in that this attack won’t cause knockback, though the shots are fired much quicker, and each shot only deals 1% damage.

Down B: Stealth Suit: Slippy turns invisible for a short period of time, similar to how the cloaking device item works. After Slippy reappears, the Cloaking Device must be recharged, and using it again before it is completely recharged will shorten the amount of time Slippy stays invisible, and also decrease the maximum time that he will be invisible when the device is fully charged.

Peppy: While Peppy would be the slowest member of the Star Fox team, he would have the best jump of the three, and his weight would be between Slippy and Falco’s. He would rely on his blaster and bombs to attack, as well as the help of his teammates.

B: Blaster: Slower to withdraw than Falco’s, but cause more damage. Can also be charaged to deal more damage.

Forward B: Aerial Support: Slippy will call for one of his teammates to fly onscreen and fly their Airwing across the stage. If you move the control stick to the right when you use the move, the Airwing will move from left to right, and if you move it left the Airwing will move from right to left. You cannot use this move again until after the Airwing has completely left the screen.

Down B: Smart Bomb: Slippy withdraws a Smart Bomb, which he can throw like an item. This bomb will explode if an opposing character touches it, but will not explode if Falco, Slippy, or Peppy walks over it.

Final Smash: The character that is currently on the stage jumps into their Airwing, and flies offscreen. All three airwings then appear onscreen, and begin attacking the stage with their lasers and bombs, and it is extremely difficult to avoid their fire. After the final smash ends, the character that was previously fighting jumps out of his Airwing and returns to the stage.
