I don't know if anyones discovered this yet, but I've found how to pivot up smash out of run. Normaly I would keep new techs to my self for alittle while before posting them, but I said what the heck. To preform it, all you hafta do is pivot (from a run) > jump canceled upsmash . its quite useful as a mind game, and it makes up smash unpunishable if shielded even by snake because fox gets nearly the same momentum going backwards as forwards, and it knocks the opponent in the opposite direction fox is sliding, creating more space between you and your foe. (dunno know if he perfect shields, but he will most likely try to ps a normal u smash, and the pivot up smash is used alittle later, so they most likely will fail to ps or drop their shield and eat it.) This tech is not fox specific, its also excellent with Ike, Snake, DDD, Luigi and a couple other characters. Like I said, dunno know if its been discovered yet... if it has, forgive me, if not, enjoy. : )
