How do the tournies go in order assuming you win them? Where can I sign up for one?

If you win you get the part of the pot that was assigned as the payout for 1st.
Most tournaments pay out like this - 60%, 30%, 10% or 70%, 20%, 10% of the total pot.
You usually sign up at the venue for the tournament. There are some cases where you sign up online, but those aren't very common.
