Hay smash people i'm new to the smash world.

I've been playing ssb64 on console with friends for about 9 months now and finally got a hori mini adapter which works for the computer, so I set up project 64 and played a few games on desirees server (i'm from Australia), it was a little laggy but I was still getting my *** kicked.

I really want to get crazy good at this game, I main Falcon, Luigi and Mario. I'm always down for tips and whatever. I've been sitting on smash forums reading for ages and practicing but thats nothing compared to playing people online.

So yea I don't know if i should of posted a thread but I just wanted to say hi and i'm keen to get better and play some of the best. The day I do get a bit better i might post up some videos in that other thread and people can give me some tips.

1 more thing does any1 know the best driver for the hori mini with the raphnet adaptor?

play online more

you should focus on one character (falcon is probably a good bet) before branching out to others

always nice to see new australians in the scene :)

i played him at 2am this morning

probably the best new guy i've seen

can z-cancel, short hop, tech moderately unpredictably and is getting the hang of combos

best of all he has drive to get better so hopefully we'll have a new permanent denizen of desiree's - the first since like jasper

Yea last night was fun, learnt how good people can get. Ciaza and Douxo were putting a beating on me. But it was good.

I will try to stick with the 1 character though, I like mixing it up a little. See what happens I might be on tonight again.

hey man! we tried playing last night but for some reason you kept dropping

anyway, i'm on most nights so i'll try to play you whenever

try to play lots with ciaza, james, rom, asianaussie and me; you'll improve really quickly

we all play at similar levels and all have a different play style that makes getting better a breeze

always glad to have a new member! and where abouts are you from? if you don't mind me asking

i dont really count jasper as a permanent resident, he has admitted he doesn't care about getting better and he's not at kuro level

i tried to keep the cheeseball legacy alive by winning a facebook competition to name a mutual friend's fish and naming it cheeseball.

that fish then went on to escape its aquarium somehow and die.

true story.

i dont really count jasper as a permanent resident, he has admitted he doesn't care about getting better and he's not at kuro level
fine then, the first new resident since dsc.

Australians don't break out of jails

They just take it easy and eventually turn them into countries

and continents... completely irrelevant but I couldn't help but lol.:awesome:

oh and reallyfastcar(awesome name) I main Mario and falcon also :) I would like play you as I'm kind of a noob as well, but until I get a controller adapter I'm not bothering. its not even funny how **** terrible I am with a keyboard... anyway good luck with becoming a pro:)

can people from austrailia even connect with people in the us with kaillera anyway?

I'm from Newcastle SSBpete, yea i like getting my *** kicked I usually just play with spastics who just roll and grab. Sorry about last night i'm still having problems with project 64, keeps on dropping occasionally but it seemed to of fixed itself last night i still don't know what the best graphics plugin is, I think that is the problem. Hopefully we can have some games tonight.

Haha and thanks Ninja, I tried the keyboard and I felt more retarted than usual. But one day we might have a game.

we can connect but it's terrible delay, so no point

i play keyboard and im not entirely godawful, so its not really a matter of needing a controller to be competent

'spammy and off-topic' isn't mutually exclusive with 'mind-numbingly amusing'

also, weeaboos are people who want to abandon their lives and move to japan...i just entertain myself with japanese media, otherwise im a reasonably normal guy lol

Yo I'm just saying, weeaboos are like hipsters, no one thinks they are one. Weeaboos are obsessed with japanese culture, that's it.

this is a weeaboo

aa and i would probably not even qualify as otaku

the only person i know who is weeaboo is 1der, because that kid wants to cosplay as rock lee to an anime festival

the 'definition of weeaboo' was probably invented by a weeaboo who didn't want to feel judged

my denial is triggering my own cynicism alarm, so i guess ill have to accept it lol

im almost certain that the stages of grief only apply to death

unless you're talking about the death of my reputation

in which case i had no rep to begin with lol

By the way, I was totally being serious there. I was lurking here and I saw this "weeaboo" discussion and thought it was the perfect moment to bust out that video.

I thought it applied to any kind of thing that grief could be felt over but I'm probably wrong... anyway here's the five stages laid out:

1. Denial — "Im not a goddamn weeaboo"
2. Anger _
3. Bargaining
4. Depression
5. Acceptance — "o wait a sec....."

death of austrailian side?

i know, i had a tute on it not very long ago

i suppose it might fit, but this is hardly grief, and the bargaining element isn't particularly applicable unless you take it out on a stretch

you never know what people cry over. a super comic book nerd would probably have grief over not being able to afford the newest xmen super nerd edition and the bargaining stage would be to offer up some really big teeth or something.

lol whatever this got way too complicated and I know this will just end with me looking ******** so its best if I ragequit right here, rather than over there by the patch of suspicious brown liquid.

.... I think I went too far again with the non sequiters

if that's what you want to think then ok
Change your current anime avatar to an anime reaction pic of disapproval to show your resentment at being called a weeaboo!

People will know better to pester you with accusations then. You'll finally be able to study Japanese, hate on western RPGs, and have a 50 post Social Thread discussion with ciaza about obscure anime in peace.
