Hi. I'm very obsessed with Super Smash Bros, but the problem is, I have rarely ever played any Smash game in my life.

I used to play Melee at a relative's house, and I played a bit of Smash 4 when my brother let us borrow his Wii U, but outside of that, I've never played any Smash game other than that (unless Super Smash Flash counts, which it probably doesn't.)

The only Nintendo console that is in the living room is a Wii, so that leaves me with only two games: Melee and Brawl.
I could install Dolphin to play Project M, so probably three.

Which game should I start with?

I would suggest whatever game variant you like the most. I started with PM personally because it was easier then melee but still fast

I'd go with Melee. Its player base is far more active so you'll be able to get help from other Melee players faster than Brawl players. Also, there's more Melee tournaments than Brawl, if you ever want to get into that.

Honestly, I'd start with the first game if you're interested in the historical aspect of SSB. If you just want to play and have fun then Melee, Brawl, or the Wii U version is your best bet. Other than that welcome to Smashboards!
