New to Smash!

Hi, I'm new here! I'm also new to Smash in general, December 7th 2019 is the first time I ever played a Smash game, when I got Ultimate :D
I'm probably too new to have a real main, but I really like Palutena and I definitely use her the most. Her down special is super satisfying!
I'm also super bad at the game, probably since I basically just started, but I've been having a bunch of fun with it!

Also, quick question: are Smash tournaments open to all skill levels, or are they mainly for skilled veterans? If I went to one at my low level would I still have fun?
