Smash Rookie
Ultimate is my first Smash Bros game and I'm quickly becoming obsessed. I have played many, more "traditional" fighters like Street Fighter, Tekken, and Mortal Kombat at a level or two above casual, but nowhere near pro levels. The only tournament in which I've competed was EVO 2016 for SFV, but only because I was vacationing in Vegas with my girlfriend that weekend anyway. I got eliminated in pools by Wolfkrone, but did knock out a few players before that.
I'd like to find some training buddies near my skill level to just grind out some long practice sessions. I plan to attend every Smash tourney I can in 2019 and bring some much needed respect to my main, Samus. Super Metroid has been my all-time favorite game since getting it on my 10th birthday in 1994. I'm what you guys would call a character loyalist. I have no idea who Dark Samus is and will never play as her, ever. Zero Suit might end up being a backup character for me though once my Samus game gets to a point with which I'm satisfied.
