Hell of a long name for a tech.

Again, I honestly don't know if it's really a new technique. Someone could have seen or done it already. I thought it was all right to call it "new", as there has never been any video footage nor explanation for it (at least from what I know).

Link for the video:

Here's the video description:
Please, if you do come up with a better name for this tech, let me know please.

Can be done with Jigglypuff & Samus only (probably due to being floaty and having the ability to teleport).

How to do it: You just basically dash against a ledge which finishes diagonally up, like the ones shown in the video (can be done in other stages, too), then smash the analog stick to the opposite direction you are facing aproximately 3 frames before going off the edge. Jiggly/Samus will do a "fake jump" in air, with the possibility of getting back to the stage without the need of performing a second jump. Teleporting as you aproach the edge will likely have the same result.

As what you can see from the video, this may prove to be quite a good edguarding move, specially against characters with mid-low priority in their UpB such as Falcon or Fox.

Stages where it can be done:
● Peach's Castle (shown in video).
● Congo Jungle (up-left/right platforms).
● Planet Zebes (up-right platform).
● Yoshi's Island (main platform, up-left/right platforms).
● Sector Z (shown in video).
● Saffron City (low-left moving platform).

Can be done at both US and Japanese versions.

Tool assisted for demonstration.
It really has its own limited uses, but hey, as someone said in another thread: a new tech is a new tech.

What do you guys think?

I think Alan already used something like this...maybe been a while since i watched his vids but...seems like something they might have used with Nairs to kill
Probably, It's unnoticeable stuff.
Other top players might have done it aswell.
