So, we can tell from history that Link in Smash 64 was based on OoT, and Young Link in Melee was based on OoT / MM. Now Brawl being released, showing off Link as his character from Twilight Princess, and Toon Link, being shown as his character from Wind Waker, (also Minish Cap, 4 swords adventure, etc.).

With this being said, will Toon Link be replaced with Young Link now that they are remaking OoT??? Also, will Adult Link be shown as he is in Skyward Sword?

I'm curious to know... any other opinions?

Skyward Sword Link will be in it for sure. That isn't a question. As for the "Alternate" Link, I think it'll still be Toon Link, as they had the sequels to Wind Waker on the DS.

That is, of course, assuming they don't release another new LoZ game for the 3DS along with OoT.

And there is also the possibility that the SS Link has two forms (highly unlikely, but possible).

And they might not even have an "Alternate" Link, since there is no new link to fill the role. There wasn't two Links in 64.

But the past two games had two Links. I say call him "Child Link" and get it all over with, have different colors / skins to pick what you prefer, (Think of Wario).

It just find it funny how they say Young Link and stuff like that's not the "real" representation of Link.

But in any case, who cares which Link we get because ultimately you can bet he'll be low tier since Link sucks in fighting games. D:

was he though? i dont remember the game telling me that link from Legend of Zelda was a young boy.

I second this.

Additional Links need to be cut from the roster because it boils down to either choosing the Link that doesn't suck or choosing the Link that does suck so you can go easy on your little cousin.

Apparently it's the same Link as ALttP might be a bit older not sure if adult though.

Tbh, I think Link from TP was meant to be like 16, but his voice was pretty deep for a 16 year old lol.

Link has been in only... Soul Calibur 2 and smash, right? Each tier list I found has him in the bottom half. True statement it seems there.
