okay I think this is already known but I'm to lazy to search because I don't main PT at all.
so here it is: everybody knows hydroplaning, you turn around and glide really far.
but you can also hydroplane forward, just turnround with squirtle and IMMEDIATLY after inputting the turnaround do a jump canceled up smash, if you do this correctly you will slide the same distants as with the normal hydroplane but squirtle will de going forward (while squirtle is turned backwards
). If you do it wrong you will do an up smash in place.
I think you already know this is really usefull...and really for punishing laggy moves.
