New Pork City = Worst Stage for Snake

This stage is huge which quickly beomes a problem. Even in Free For All's there's still plenty of manuvebltiy room for the enmy and Snake's stong suit is restcring space. In New Pork City thyer's a lot of it and unlike Temple , a good chucnk of it is in pieces. So one peiec of stage is as good as another for a fight. What this translantes for Snake is that ther is no one place you can guarntee the enemy will be in this stage so alot of his Grenade/Mine combos become ineffective. THat and if you have a bad memory like me ,it gets preety hard remebring where all those mines go and you may end up <ahem> KOing yourself with a mine you honestly didn't know was there.: So what's yalls take?

considering that snake is extremely heavy I would assume it's super hard to KO him there so it really doesn't sound that bad

Its not too bad for snake, but I do agree it becomes more dangerous for snake there anyways. I doubt you'll fight anyone there on a regular basis though...

I wouldn't worry about facing anyone on Wi-Fi there, everyone hates that stage.

Its not so bad when playing FFA the Nikita can pretty much reach anyone on that stage, but I agree its not that great of a level and too bad earthbound didn't get a good stage like fourside from melee

New Pork Stage is the worst stage period. Huge stage + busy background + that stupid demon thing = awful stage, turn off random ASAP.

It's just a bad stage in general. It's hard to tell what's a platform and what's background unless you know the stage somewhat well. There's hardly any contrast so if the camera zooms out enough it's extremely difficult to make out characters or things like grenades,
C4, and Snake's missle. That and the stage's platforms don't really seem to have any relevance to New Pork City. The background is the only thing that makes it New Pork City. Take that out and it's basically a custom stage.

That's the tragedy of it all. The music there is really good. Unfounded Revenge/Smashing Song of Success is awesome too.

It's about as bad as facing a good s0nic with 6 lives on temple as SNAAAAAAAKE! (yep some random person I faced online set the rules and picked that stage....T_T)
