I finally finished recording my Pikachu ditto combo video! These combos are for Dreamland and Saffron City (The best Pikachu stage). Given the layout of Saffron City, many of these combos are very technical and involve moving platforms/Pokemon assists. But they can all be recreated in Training Mode.

Here is the video:

Play against real people? You mean record matches? That's not what I'm going for. But we may do that in the future as well.

Do both. Some of your combos are real combos and it always looks cooler when you do them to someone in real life. The others look sweet but aren't real applicable. The one thing to stay away from is the combos where you grab and then regrab after the computer lands. Those kind of make the whole combo look pathetic since not only are they not combos, but require no tech skill and aren't very fast. Very good video overall though and I look forward to seeing what your next video looks like.

You should get online or out to tourneys to play real people and show it all off in real life.

The grab combos are actually the easiest ones to pull off in an actual match. They don't have to be started at the spawning point. I can bring Pikachu down to the wall and if I then heal him I can do the same combo from 0%. (I just need to grab one more time to make up for the one above.) I didn't feel like rerecording just to do that.

Also, I do play competitively. I go down to play tourneys with the SoCal crew whenever I have the time to make the drive.

Ok cool. I'll be there for the June tournament. You better come and we'll have some pika dittos.

I actually kind of have to agree with han solo a bit here. It seems like you enjoy making combos and if that's the case you should play some different characters. Pika is great but very limited in his combo variety. A character like fox or yoshi or even falcon has a much better diversity of combos to learn and invent

Yeah, I am definitely going to use more characters as these videos continue. Right now my goal is to have combos for all 144 matchups.

Pika can probably have more creative combos but would require higher tech skill.

My one complain would be the amount of fake combos in the video.

I was hoping to find something that we could just splice into the 3 years in the making combo video from @TANK64 (that AFAIK is just missing a Pika combo) but no dice.

Half these combos did not link (combo meter reset when not on a grab or wall hit).

do you happen to have the video files? pretty sure i asked tank about that a few months ago and he said he lost all the data due to reasons. I would have been willing to make a pika combo for that vid
