Kashakunaki
Smash Master
Okay, hopefully I caught the New Mexicans' attention.
What I want to do is describe my own desires, as well as a collective goal that everyone in New Mexico can share.
I believe it is pretty obvious that NM wasn't really involved in the competitive scene in Melee and certainly not Smash. Oh, sure, we had large tournaments, eventually monthly smashfests, and good players, but honestly that wasn't until the last year of Smash, and we hardly ever went out of state.
I can only think of two, perhaps three times, New Mexicans traveled out of state for competitive Smash. This is sad. The community of Super Smash Brothers hardly knew of our existence. I strive to change that.
My personal desire is to be accepted nation wide as the best Brawl player in the country, or at the very least the best Wolf player. Those are my own personal goals. However, I think New Mexican should have a goal, that our community should have a goal:
Let's get ourselves on the radar and then blow the mother ****er sky high.
Seriously, let's get our name out and rock the Smash world. Show them that there are talented smashers here, show people that they do want to watch and learn from our videos, that we can be pros, and that we can rock their socks.
In order to do this, I believe vital planning is needed. Advanced planning of tournament attendance, funds, transportation, the works. If we want to show the world what we can do, we can't let the world come to us. We have to go out there and do the job ourselves. With this being said, I believe we need to start planning for our first out of state tournament already.

I think this is a good place to start, but please, contribute whatever you may think or know. Thank you.
