'Kay, I'm watching the Dreamland one against Dogysamich's Doc, since I know Dogysamich is a good player and I figure you might get screwed up by Pokemon Stadium/Battlefield edges. I know I do.

Also, Dogysamich has weird abbreviations for characters. DO and MH?

Anyway, getting to the point.

If the Doc is throwing pills, fair, don't nair. The pills bounce around, so it's much harder to hit them with the nair, but the fair cuts right through them.

If he misses a tech, grab, don't fair. If he shielded the first one, he could counterattack, and that would be damage that you wouldn't have had to have taken.

If you need to stop or change directions during a run, wavedash. That way you won't get the laggy turn around animation.

Don't throw out so many random fsmashes. You can easily outspace Doc with tilts (ftilt and utilt, notably) and jabs.

Save your jump. It'll make it harder to edgehog/otherwise edgeguard you.

You really need to be more on the offensive. Keep his back to the edge and pressure him. You're falling into his game right now, and you're not going to win on those terms.

Also, walltechs are your friend.

Don't forget your ledgehop dair spikes.

Yeah, really, work on being more offensive and your recovery.

Against Doc everything elven said. Also when you edgeguard doc if they are spamming pill to recover

just wait till they get close enough and counter the pills right in front of him and that will knock him back off.

But if doc is under either try to go for a spike or d-tilt his recovery.

Too many random f-smashes is a problem too you gotta learn the appropriate time for them and work a bit on spaceing yourself with pivot grabs.

Let it be known you forward smash a bit too much, my friend. That's an easy habit to stop, so I won't nag you bout that. The second thing you need to work on is your DI. I was watched the 2 Marth ditto matches and you fell prey to the forward throw to forward smash too much. When you get grabbed by another Marth at low percents start holding back. Your edge guarding was ok. I didn't see many bair attempts in the Marth ditto. When edge guarding with Marth there is an ideal spot you want to be at all times. You don't want to stand at the very edge of the stage, bad idea. You want to be a bit further back, so that when you do the down tilt the tip of your blade is just inching off the edge. Why is this position good? Simply because you are in the perfect position to see how your foe recovers and counter accordingly.

Next would be your spacing. Do you C stick your aerials? I ask because I noticed you keep moving forward when doing your fairs/double fairs. This, my friend will get yourself shield grabbed.

Also, try to work on your mindgames. I kind of felt that Marth ditto on Fountain of Dreams was a little too long. Not saying rush, but you just have to keep your eyes open for those opportunities to kill.

Other than that, good Marth!! I enjoyed watching you play. Your movement was very smooth and I enjoyed the wavedashes out of your shield, and the wavelands from the edge. Very classy, bro. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the advice everyone, I'm take everything said here to heart and work on it. Hopefully I'll put up some new vids with results soon.

Btw Miggz, I do c-stick my aerials, I have a bad habit of getting WAY too close with my fairs when I'm not trying to tip with them.
