Hello Ganondorf boards! My name is Connor, but I go by my tag .CMW. I would like to make this thread to tell you a little bit about why I'm here. When a new smash game comes out I'm one of those people who plays three characters, but it takes me a long time to decide which three to play (especially as the roster is in excess of thirty characters). I start by categorizing by weight class and then I play each and every character until they stick out as a "stay" or a "go". It took me up until last night to narrow my findings to twp definite characters and two fighting for the third spot. It was G&W and ZSS at a definite yes for both, and it was Ganondorf and R.O.B. who were fighting for the third slot. Needless to say, after months of consideration, I have finally picked my three and Ganondorf is one of them. I'm excited to read more of the guides than I already have and to learn from each and every one of you willing to help out. I know how to play with Ganondorf but you could say I'm still a bit of a noob at him. So I made this thread to introduce myself and to ask for small hints or ideas from the public.

Happy to be here!

(P.S. Today I beat a team of level nines (G&W, Luigi, Ness) with out losing a life with Ganondorf, I hope this is a sign of future rapage!)

Speaking of ****** level nines, I was against three Ganons on Final in stamina mode. They each had 300 HP, I had 1. I beat them by using a ledge attack to spike. It took a good 5 or 6 seconds.

Also, welcome to this board. It is good to see Ganon get some more players.

As we Ganon mains like to say, "HUUUUUUUOORRRRRRAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!"

So is there any main ATs I should know besides the lagless Dair? Preferably those that include his Thurder/Munder. lol.

*BTW how does one make a poll?*

Naw, the Murder Combo (Sliq calls it Murder Balls, I believe) is a lagless d-air to up-smash. It's an easy 50% or so damage in 3 seconds.

But yeah, other than the Murder Combo, an extreme familiarity of G-dorf's choke is an essential starting point.

Oh thank you deadpoe! My friend plays as MK and I have trouble getting any damage on him, except just the lagless Dair. Now I know to use the Usmash and to utilize my choke more often. Man, Ganondorf's two most fun moves are what he uses most! Happy days.
