Yeah same here, the cost of going to Mont./ NY will cost me 90$ and I don't get money, so how about I go over someone's house that day or vice versa.

my house will be free next week starting the 13th if anybody wants to meet up and play some brawl durring the day/night, i only work in the mornings and im back by 1, i work tues/thurs nights, but nething time inbetween or other nights id be down to meet up with people to play

ok cool, and no omos melee isnt a waste... the game was good, and after playing it competitvely since 2002 i cannot just drop it... lol i still play n64 smash for crying out loud... go link + captain falcon ftw... for melee i main pichu, dnt hate

I play brawl a ton, and have gotten even better since the last time we played, so mark my words, melee isnt a waste, its just another game i still love to play competitively... so yeah 508-887-5013 when you're in town let me know we shall do melee battle

i mean he's good, but he's beatable despite his worst matchups being 50-50. There's so many things you could bring up to say how good he is, but i don't think it puts him in the BANNED category

I don't think so I don't even think he's the best character in the game. Snake > MK IMO.

On another note I just got a PS3. As well as I am probably going to a tourney in Long Island next week.

hey guys sorry I havent been around lately.. some responsible forum founder I am =) lol... anyways I was off in some pretty hardcore training to improve my overall metagame with my mains, secondaries, etc... I have drastically modified my playing styles and I'm ready to make this group grow... if any of you guys have smash friends, siblings who play, whatever... bring em in... I like where this thread is going but we need to grow even more... I will try to recruit people but I can only do so much without my own computer...sniffle... anyways... I am getting ready (and holding my breath) for my first serious playingstyle videos to be put onto youtube for all to see... When I started this thread I expected great things, and so far the people I have seen and met to play brawl with have impressed me very much... Don't ever take offense to my "playing noob", which is something I do often to get a feel for others' understanding of the game. I am proud to be an active member of a community which used to be DEAD... its time to crunch numbers, win tournies, and make people scared to face us... by the way we need to officially vote on a name... lol we never quite did that.... but we need more members + more ideas + 508-887-5013 text me and we can play when I'm not working... try to be somewhat closeby to manahawkin NJ... K thnx

I could recruit one of my cousins he seems to love the game for fun, maybe he should try competition.

As for the Name, I like The S.S Smash still.

You know what I just realized Canada just ****ed on all of us with one of their guys against the whole U.S in Genesis.

I also found out that Olimars F-Tilt just dominates DKs Up B, which stops him from stalling on the ledge.

Also I will always cp Distant planet in AiB now.

Even if snake can get juggle and his recovery can be punished. You still need to be able to punish/juggle him nades can prevent juggles.

Make sure the dude from AiB lives in Joysey, or in very close proximity. Regardless the point is that Snake is only good on ground, thats just a generalization. MK has advantages in every department except projectiles.

So guys we all got to go to that tourney in Toms River.

Lucky you, but I might stick with going to Toms River because I already said I'd be there, and I don't like going back on my word. Although say if we get like all of us to go to Princeton,then I would have to go to that, just cause it would be with my crew.
