New glitch?

I was messing around when a red shell came out, shined it untill it broke my shine!then it broke my shield first hit doing 72 damage!

I remember reading a thread WAY BACK when some guy said that him(Fox) and his friend(Falco) were on FD. The Falco fired a super scope at the Fox who was shining. The shot bounced between the two shines until one broke. This is because every time an object hits the shine, it's damage is multiplied by 1.5( I think it's 1.5). Your red shell kept gaining power until your shine couldn't take it anymore. Then, it came back with more power and broke your shield.

so...whats the thresh hold for shines and capes exactly? :S

Well if it did 72% when it last hit him, then it gained 1.5x from the previous hit, making the limit 48%.

not a glitch...... i've fired a missile using samus in a doubles match..... i fired at a fox who shined (opponent) and my friend was using falco who shined it back untill fox let his shine down and he died from 0% to over a 100% i believe...... pretty crazy....

This happened to me the other day when I fired a laser at a CPU who shined and reflected the laser. I shined and reflected it. The laser bounced back and forth five or six times and then my shield broke. It was weird, I had no idea what happened.
