I was playing Game & Watch Gallery 3 (for GBC) the other day and I thought some of the stages looked like they could be used for Brawl. Here are a few:

This is Donkey Kong, Jr. Stage 1:

What you do in this stage is just like the original Donkey Kong, Jr. Get 4 keys into the lock and free DK. What I think would happen in this stage is since there are 3 stages in this DKJR game, DKJR is getting the keys in the background. Sometimes he'll fail to get the keys up, other times he succeeds. When he gets all 4, the stage pauses for a second and moves to the next area, where you continue to smash.

This is Mario Bros. Stage:

In this level, Mario and Luigi move the items up the conveyor belt. (pies perhaps?) When your score gets high enough, Bowser tends to hop and reverse the conveyor belts, in which at that time, Mario or Luigi have to hit the lever (the one with the star on it) to normalize the belts.

This is Egg level:

In this level, you move Yoshi so that he eats the cookies. Sometimes, a Bob-Omb will come down to try and trick you. If Yoshi eats it, you lose a life (or a try, whichever you prefer).

I've always hoped for the gas station from Oil Panic to be a stage with the levels where each character stands being a platform and the oil dropping from the ceiling to create mini bursts of fire on the floor when they hit down below.

Donkey Kong Jr, sure would be intersting, but it's to bad Rumble Falls already took it's place, but another stage I would really see the 4-1 stage from SMB.2

I always liked the Man Hole stage with the 2 platforms on it. Either that stage, or oil panic def. I'd take a flat stage like that anyday with alot of platforms on it, compared to all these new one platforms stages w/ all the interactivity and no depth.

Is that the ice level with the rocket at the end of the level? If so, that would be a good level also. I would think of it as that a person gets into the rocket, then everyone else has like 3-5 seconds to board the rocket, or else it takes off without them and they just fall out of the bottom of the screen.

I played G&W Gallery 3. that's a kick-butt fun game, since it's pone of the oldish ones, (*cough*back when games were cool*cough*)

that's an idea I never thought of. I'll have to look more into it.

I could see a Flat Zone 2, and if it were to happen, it should be a double-screed Game & Watch handheld.

i remember when i bought this game. a loooooooong time ago. maybe donkey kong jr stage 2, with the vines as ladders, but less of them, and maybe a badguy of some sort climbes up and down the vines. (i can't find screenies) i can't see any of the stages you put working.
