For players looking to carpool, PL is offering travel compensation for cars traveling at least 50 miles round trip that include four preregistered players and fill out an online form. Previously this offer was extended to teams for TMG, but now it can apply to any carpool as long as they meet those requirements.

Because we have many events at this large tournament, there will be a strict 3 or 4 bracket cap per player, pending schedule details like if there is PM teams interest. In addition, if you participate in The Melee Games, you will not be allowed to enter any teams events because of the crew battle time restrictions.

The schedule is sectioned into waves/blocks such that players can enter both brackets in two games in this event. Melee pools and PM pools are round robin, but Wii U singles will be bracket pools. All teams R1 waves will be round robin unless there are too many teams. For all round robin pools, top 2 advance. Melee and PM singles also include amateur and intermediate brackets for R1 eliminated players.

Venue fee: $10 preregister*, $15 on-site ($10 discount/refund if RPI student or bringing full Wii U setup)

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Student Union in Troy, NY at the intersection of Sage Ave and 15th St.
The tournament room is on the second floor, in a large open central room called the McNeil room. There are four main pillars around the center of the room. This is visible from entrances on the second floor and directly behind the main entrance lobby (go up some stairs to enter the building rather than in a lower side door). This is the same room as that used for Final Battle, BLUE FISH, BLACK FISH and BLUE FISH.
If coming by car, there is ample parking, and it is free on the weekends. If coming by bus or train, contact us, and we can arrange for you to be picked up. We can also provide housing overnight if necessary.
