While trying to find a date for my last tourney was a bit of a struggle, due to the fact that I had to search the Tourney Listing page and sift out all the New England tourneys, and take their dates into consideration. When I managed to pick a date I ended up on the same day as the biggest Melee Tourney in quite awhile hurting attendance a bit.
I talked to Dazwa and am currently talking to IcyLight about the date for his tourney. It's a bit troublesome and was wondering if making a New England TO Group for organizing this stuff in this immeadiate region would be a welcome idea.
Dazwa had said that it might not, because that's what the calendar is for, but frankly no one uses it and since it counds for all of SmashBoards it's a bit unwieldy.
I figure if this group is made the owner can put the upcoming stuff in the front of the group and exceptions for LARGE tourney that venture just outside the group. Or even just a thread in here. But before I went a head and did it I wanted to make sure this wasn't going to get closed down or anything.
Is this a good idea? If so I could just edit this post and try to keep it organized. Using this thread. Blessings?
