Cool, yea its my understanding that link actually get red eyes and his skin tone differs...awesome...Now for ox and samus---
When fox changes in his wolf costume does the name now read wolf? WHat about his fur? does it change to grey, or does fox simply get wolf's chest plate?
Samus-is teh fusion suit a legit new costume?? is the dark suit a color pallete or the dark samus suit form the games??

I suppose the Fusion suit would work, but the Final Smash would be a little complicated. What would happen instead? The helmet would just fall off instead of the whole power suit?

Boshi is in? Awesomeness! Super Mario RPG is one of my favorite games ever, so thats awesome! But wouldn't Nintendo have to get the licencse since it was made by Square? Or is he exempt because he's a Yoshi and thus a spin on a pre existing character?Masterem243

Yeah I figured that out after I posted. The key is Sonic, who doesn't change colours, as the poster after you said. That, and why would Strikers Mario be playable? Not knocking or anything. Boshi is pretty obscure anyways, so it prolly ain't gonna happen.
Why would they make it so Sonic's armbands are the only things that recolour anyways?Masterem243

Possibly homage to Sonic Adventure 2, where he's got yellow like arm bands?

Actually, some elements from the original ARE returning...I only know of 3 so far...
Special character enterances (for example, in a Brawl demo vid, Samus comes out of a portal, and Mario jumps out of a pipe.)

Yeah, so most likely other elements that were left out of Melee are most likely gonna be in Brawl.
Huh. Maybe. In either Sonic Adventure 1 or 2, or maybe both, you got crystal bands as well. Its been a long time since I played tho, so I might be wrong. Off topic, is there a thread for Assist Trophies? Not speculation, but confirmed, and semi-confirmed (Like Advance Wars, no Dojo update yet but seen in video).

Oh my God, Mewtwo's alternate colors were bland as hell...Lame like Mewtwo. Hopefully there's a difference between recolors and Alternate Costumes.
One of them, the lighter purple, apperead to be his original colours from Pokemon Red & Blue. They seemed to be lighter in the official art from back then. That may just be me tho.

BTW, as someone said in the impressions board-fox's "wolf" costume really is not a wolf costume at all....its no more a wolf costume than falcon's blood falcon costume and probably less so actually being htat his fur doesnt even change too much...

Yea if you can't really change sonics color you should be able to change skins to like shadow

I thought that Sonic's fur color could be changed (red, yellow, green, purple, gray), but so far that doesn't seem to be the case.

I think it's the fact that there's no other hedgehog like Sonic, and also that could be from the massive amount of recolored characters made by many fans.. Then again, this could be temporary, since this is a demo.

Yea but how would that look if you had a skin like shadow yet with sonic's voice? I think an overall just black looking sonic would be fine. Of course if they somehow made shadow's voice inputted because of sonic's alternate costume, that'd be fine too.
I'm just glad Pikachu doesn't wear that freakin dunce hat anymore. He has..Ash's hat and googles!! Much better in my opinion. Since Link's design is taken from Twilight Princess I think they should have dark link alternate aswell.

Huh. It doesn't look fake, and hte other costumes are in from what people have siad. How did this work out?

I don't know. I don't remember seeing any pictures of Sonic with different colored wristbands though. Perhaps those people were LYING!!!?!? Question mark? I dunno.

At the beginning of that video you can see two Sonic's going at it. What's interesting is that on the little image at the bottom, you can notice the slight difference of hue between the two. How, in the black Sonic video, the portrait at the bottom looks like regular blue Sonic. What's up with that? Is that a powerup or something? I know Dark Link's portrait looks dark, so why not Sonic's? Perhaps that was a hoax? It doesn't look like it. Why just Sonic? Can anyone who was there explain?

I like the graphic udates i\'m ok with the fact that they didn\'t update Sanus to her prime look because tecnicly prime does take place before Super Metroid and she has her super metroid look.

yea but zelda doesn't even have a time line. Each adventure is separate. So if Zelda and Link go twilight samus should go prime
