So I was at Sakura-con this past weekend here in Seattle and I saw Pink Garilla there selling N64 controllers that are not made by Nintendo and me and my friend wanted to try one out as they look alot like a Nintendo 64 controller BUT they are not they feel and play really bad. I wanted to post this here so no one buys them as they are one of the wost contollers that you can buy for the N64 here is what it looks like.

I ordered a controller on ebay and it sounds like what you're talking about. It looked just like a normal controller except it didn't say Nintendo in that oval and the stick was different (way worse). The buttons were also terrible. Think it came from China.

Just buy a hori mini pad. Yes, they are expensive. However, once you play with one, you will wonder why you have been wasting money on other cheapo controllers before. There really is no substitute. I have had mine for 3 days and I think I have logged 30 hours of game play on it (what? School just got out... what else am I supposed to do) and everything plays so smooth, this is what the N64 controller should have been.

I've also seen these controllers you are talking about, and although I haven't used one I had a feeling they were going to be just awful. It is really just some company in china trying to make a quick buck by ripping off the less careful of the online shoppers over seas.

They have a couple of them in the game store I frequently visit, and I told them that I hope they never sell them, because they would probably just end up returned the next day.

I almost bought one of those on ebay and then I was like "wait why am I buying a $10 'Nintendo' Controller from Hong Kong?" and then I looked and there was no brand.
