Ok, So i'm pretty sure this combo doesn't actually work, but i've managed to pull it off against lvl 9's all the time (i'm guessing because of really bad DI), but I figure i'd ask some people who actually have other people they can try it against since I usually have to play by myself. Anyways, he's what i've managed to find:

Starting at 0% or something very low or the combo can be modified at the beginning to adjust for the percentage increase. dtilt -> dtilt -> utilt -> bair -> bair -> whatever else you can connect (i've gotten another bair and then a ledge guard and i've done an uair once). Anyways, i have a feeling the only reason this works is because the cpu DI's towards you after the first dtilt, thus setting up pretty much the rest of it. Also, hitting him with the tip of the tail doesn't really work because it sends him away from you (maybe it's the physics of the attack or the cpu just DI's differently from that distance). Anyways, this is easy to pull off against the cpu cuz you can just cc all the jab/slashes (i usually do this against marth) that they annoyingly do.

Yeah practicing those types of combos on computers are big no nos, dude. Not to put you down or anything. It sounds cool, won't lie. But I find it unlikely you'll get that off on the average player. =/

Pretty sure this would fall apart early with proper DI. Lvl 9s DI towards you all of the time. Which is why I can chaingrab Falco to 60%.

You play to much CPU's if you're comboing like that.

Fox has it easier with practicing on CPU's, but you have to know how and at your level you are only forcing bad habits... try doing combos out of shines..etc

Or that, but shine combos are automatic and work MUCH MUCH better in situations when facing a real opponent.

I wrote a little guide nobody cared about a while ago, I'll post it later.. 5:18am to tired to even find the reply button right now.

You're telling me shine is more reliable than grab? Shine relies on the fact that you as a player have enough technical skill to perform the follow-up if the shine hits. Grab is literally a free hit. You throw them up and do almost anything and it works - no tech-skill required. Margin for error is minimal, and its a ****load easier to do.

Shines can also be d.i.ed, effected by stages, CCed etc etc. Grabs can be d.i.ed, but you still get the free hit. Stages can interrupt your throws, but it still usually turns out in your favour (platform chases and more free bairs). If your opponent tries to CC...well grab just messes that **** up.

Shine IS good, don't get me wrong. But grab is the universal **** tool for every character - especially Fox.

I was responding to what you said about shines working better vs. a real opponent.

But you forget the original point is that his practicing on CPU's. A cpu will never DI a grab.
I didn't forget the original point. I was talking about what you said.

err. I've been to 4 major u.s. tournaments. (paying lots of money to do so)

I paid for a ticket to Kansas for a tournament that was held less than a month ago. Unless you WCers are ALL rich, I'm sure you can understand that money doesn't fall from trees. The ticket plus entry fee for cast is over 500$
