new character on january 10th?

i was reading on wikipedia (yeah i know - but its interesting to read once in a while) about ssb, ssbm, and brawl...one particular thing i was reading on, was that the game was announced on may 10th 2006, and trailer revealing snake was shown at the end. fast foward to october 10th 2007 and we got sonic...december 10th already passed, so maybe january 10th we get another 3rd party character update...? who knows.

sorry if this has been reposted, but the site seems to only let me click certain buttons and links...i hate my internet (moreso comcast) sometimes.

On topic, if those dates are correct, that may happen, or that may not. Remember Miyamoto's birthday? People (including me) hoped to see Olimar revealed that day. I do think we will get a new character, but I dunno when.

There comes a point when we try to hard to come up with these kinds of theorys. When we learn of what coro coro reveals to us I will be through with all this speculation, it seems to be the only one that has any "real" evidence (not ideas/assumptions/etc). Even this can be a giant disappointment, it could be rehashed information. We need to stop with coming up with theorys on everything its frankly becoming annoying

There are nine letters in "abolition". Nine is one less then ten, and Brawl is being released on the tenth, therefore, in one day, Sakurai will abolish tiers and wavedashing.

Good effort, but pattern predictions and so called "big dates" never seem to work out. Just setting yourself up for disappointment.

Although you very well may be right. After Christmas we're going to see massive updates, definitely the last one or two third party characters, SSE updates on starting characters, and probably a few groundbreaking things that we didn't expect all to gear up for the Japanese release. We'll be seeing some great updates in January.

im not believe it...im saying could there be one? it could be a coincidence...

doesnt really matter, we'll know the starting roster/all of the characters pretty soon anyway, through corocoro or some crazy guy who has brawl days/weeks before anyone else.

There is a pattern: RANDOMNESS!

Aim the dart at the dartboard. Sakurai has HORRIBLE AIM, and sometime Miyamoto, Kojima, and others throw the dart for the update. Sakurai hit the center a couple of times (Ike [first confirmed character by the Dojo], Sonic, Stage Builder, etc), but most of the time he hits someone 3 miles away delivering pizza. The dartboard originated from when Miyamoto thought of ideas for a "new game".

So he aimed at this dartboard, and missed, and hit a VHS of King Kong in Japan, a ladder in America, and a Italian plummber in Italy. Thus, that gave him the idea of the original "Donkey Kong"! That is how Super Mario Bros., Zelda, Metroid, F-Zero, Kirby Star Fox (he hit a piece of KFC chicken), and Super Smash Bros. came into existense. Don't ask how I know....I'm a inside source!
