New awesome Fox combo?

So..I was messing around in training mode with a peach..and I discovered this and haven't seen it before so I thought I would share.

Do a running shine and then turn around while you are sliding and JC into a shffled bair then foxtrot JC grab upthrow uair. Works at low %'s on peach and I haven't tried it on other characters.

Also using the running turnaround shine into shffled bair is really really flashy and fun to kill people at high %'s doing it .

Also I found myself killing people at more moderate percents because they would DI thinking I'm going to upsmash and instead get baired off the stage.

Thoughts?

Seems to be needlessly flashy to me. I'm not a Fox vs. Peach expert, but couldn't you just drill shine -> usmash the ho? Running shine does do some funky stuff, but you really want to be killing Peaches off the top, it's much more reliable.

Well..At low %'s you get a grab anyways...

And I think shine + bair+grab+hit= uthrow=uair is more damaging then Drillshine shine upsmash...

Anyways yeah this is just flashy but it isnm't too hard to do and it looks sooo good and they will probably DI the bair wrong if you do it at high %'s. Low %'s = awesome grab.

its cool of u for posting this combo up. its good to inform everyone about this but ive actually been making use of fox's shine turn... errr... turning around in shine alot since i started playing him. the shine bair is a common overly used tactic of mine therefore i get owned alot.

mmmm it's flashy, but a more simpler and damaging approach is the drillshine to waveshine to upsmash. Simply because a Fox can waveshine Peach right across the stage, and then WD past her into reverse waveshines to go back, and then repeat. Of course it is a little more challenging to reverse waveshine properly for distance and such, but just the waveshine from one side of a standard stage to another into the upsmash is a bit more damaging.

Cool trick though, I will no doubt add it to my arsenal of flashyness.

More damaging, but harder to pull off and less reliable methinks. Drillshine > wavedash > upsmash is more guaranteed. Additionally, beyond certain percentages against Peach, upsmash means death every time, so a drillshine to upsmash would be the better way to go IMO.

But heck, if you can pull it off, nothin wrong with looking cool. I'm sure I'll be giving this a go.

Harder to pull off? Maybe...thing is..this is for a grab..I see fox's all the time grab a peach at 0% for a upthrow uair right? Well instead of the grab they could of shined while running then turned around in the shine shffl bair foxtrot JC grab...they get the grab and all the damage and flasyness instead of just the grab...

Otherwise sounds a little overcomplicated for tournament play, but if players want to replace this for their standard shine->grab I guess it's fine.

i mean the combos nice, but wouldnt DI effect the outcome of the combo. but excluding DI possibilities i like wat uve put together.

idk about the running shine, but i love the bair. i'm used to doing it w/falco anyway, but you are right, a lot of people expect the uair. the incorrect DI is enough to kill them sometimes.

Yeah but you don't need to turn around in the shine if you nair..and it won't kill at high %'s as well as Bair . And bair into grab = sexy omfg wtf just happened to me.

The sad thing is that good ppl can survive either at 180% quite easily.

The turn around is unnecessary when you can just nair out of the shine and then edgeguard or l-cancel into a dash-grab.

you dont have to actually shine the person to get the b-air outta the shine. makes for a really surprising kill that i use alot. seems to work for me <_<.

Tink: Yeah I miss the shine alot and just bair them anyways .

And from 0% this combo will do 40-45% damage .

And I don't just run straight at the peachs lol dashdance..foxtrot..use mindgames lol.

The Drillshine>usmash will do ~37% and is way easier to pull off, plus can turn into either a waveshine semi-infinite>usmash, or can combo into more drillshines. But true, it is pretty flashy, and I like being flashy.

At low %, isn't it possible for them to CC the Bair into Dsmash?
