i was fooling around in brawl+ (4.1) then out of nowere I did a Fsmash right out of a dash what i had did was pushed down on the anlog stick, wich i belive cancaled the dash animation, then i was able to do Dsmash, Fsmash, dtilt, or a stationary Usmash unlike with dashing into an Usmash were u slide a bit. anyway i think i might have discoverd somthing simiar to wavedashing in SSBM.

NOTE: i am not sure wich characters this will work with or if this works in Vbrawl.

it's dash canceling. It was ment to be B+. It was in melee too. It's nothing like a wavedash.

edit: And it's not in vbrawl.

This man is correct. The tech is indeed called "dash canceling," and it was added to brawl+ intentionally.

dash cancelling allows for slip-slidy Weegee forward smashes :D

And it also allows for EPIC crawldashing (This technique ROX with Luigi as well)
