Never Enough Smash Hype

This series is primarily focused on showing highlights from high level players of Project M, and also me working on my video editing skills
This one is my first, so while basic, hopefully it's not too bad.
Some people don't have time to watch each individual match, but still want to see what their favourite players have been pulling off, so hopefully if you like Chillin, this will let you see what he's been up to lately.

I started with Chillin for a couple reasons, firstly, his recent sponsorship with Curse Gaming is very exciting. Betweem this and KDJ and Ken being pick up by Liquid, we are going in good directions.

The other reason I wanted to start with Chillin is that he is one of my favourite smashers. Been around since the beginning, and seems to have adapted to Project M well, turning his precision Fox from Melee into a hyper aggressive Wolf.

Basically, I enjoy watching smash, and there will never be enough smash brothers hype to satisfy my own cravings. One of things I've heard in the gaming industry is that "Sometimes if you want something to exist and no one else has made it yet, you have to do it yourself."

I plan to do more of these to increase my editing skills. Comment with the smasher you think I should do next and I probably will. My next one might be Chu or Oro?! though if I don't get anything solid. Hope you guys enjoy.

The one thing this video needs is "The Chillin Special", which is Side B-ing off the stage as a combo follow-up. As you probably know, you can jump cancel Side-B if it hits, but if it misses you just fall to your doom, so it's super risky and hype. I've definitely seen him pull this off in a VGBootcamp video somewhere but I don't remember exactly where.


And lol I remember the Randall assist. That's almost as godlike as Denti's Balloon Solarbeam charge on Hungrybox.

Ahha yeah. Well, I wanted to only highlight the good, but you are right, Chillin flashes off stages so much. It just makes him that much better to watch :D

Lol well it looks spectacular when he lands it. I suppose SDing with it is also part of the Chillin Special but you can omit that part.

Have you checked the "best player per character" thread ? You could do pretty much one video per player in that thread.
If you want to feature European players, well there's pretty much only Professor Pro and Armada at the moment since the scene is so small (the lack of PAL version doesn't exactly help)

Also, Sethlon and the #Grin need more love.

The hardest part of putting these together is just finding enough clips to actually put together. I have been poking around at a few of Sethlons matches, but it's kinda tough.

Ally has some crazy moments where he seems like he mind-reads in his Apex matches. You can check out the CT channel for his matches v/s Zhime, KDJ and Taj, and search KTAR 8 for his set with Rolex and a set with M2K (that one's not super hype, but he does manage to take a game off M2K's Fox.) Metroid sadly doesn't have too many recent vids to his credit But I'll be sure to let you know once he does.

I just watch the Apex Match against Zhime. For the first two matches, I was like... yeah... I dunno if I'm going to find any epic material from this.
And then game three happened. What a beast.
