Is it still the chomp, and if it is does it maintain the low air mobility from Brawl, or can you maneuver with it at all in the air in a way more similar to Project M?

THIS IS IMPORTANT TO ME

Yes, But i am not sure if you can keep it open or if the player was just stupid. It's in full motion and looks awesome.

If the player is stupid: It's the same as it was in Brawl but has full frames.
If the player is not stupid: You can only do a quick chomp.

It's basically Brawl bite with an updated aesthetic unfortunately. Can't really drift with it.

The bite can now eat seemingly everything that Villager's Pocket is capable of stopping.

That means both energy projectiles and solid projectiles are free game.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to benefit Wario in any way, either.

Well...on the bright side that means it can't be punished by projectiles in front of you then... right?

I guess,

Was hoping it would make his waft charge faster or heal him like eating his bike and other items does.

On a side note, gimping Villager or Ness by eating their balloons/PK Thunder would look hilarious.

WHAT. That's amazing. This doesn't benefit him? Um, yes it does, you get rid of stuff and don't get hit.

Can anyone confirm? I really doubt it, but if that's true... yummy Links final smash.

He only regains health from eating his bike parts and non-explosive items that can be picked up.

It just negates projectiles.

Lucario's side-b is edible with bite, apparently. Happened today in a 1v1 and was kinda surprising. Might've been a lag glitch so I can't confirm yet.

Here's a quick question? Is his Bite considered a command grab? It seems to go through shields, but am not 100% sure.

Also, Bite is really good for chasing opponents in the air. If you make it seems you are gonna attack them, they will air dodge..that is when you hold down B (neutral B..not fart) and they will end up in your maw once the dodge is over.

His Bite has always been a command grab.

It's probably the best one in the game, as well, due to it being extremely fast, and having a lingering hitbox that can catch spot dodgers. It's hilariously easy to condition people into shielding your air approaches so you can bite them.

Eating a bomb (like Link's) will hurt you. What happens is that he eats it, swallows it, and it explodes in his belly. When it explodes in his stomach, his stomach will expand when it explodes and it has a hitbox with moderate knock back. Pretty useless and most of the time you take damage and dont get close enough to hiy anyone with the stomach explosion

He cant eat smashes. He can eat people while they are in their shields, or he can eat people while theyre move is starting up if you catch them right before the hitbox starts. Also, you can eat pikmin. But it doesnt heal, BUT YOU CAN EAT OLIMARS SMASHES BECAUSE THEY INVOLVE PIKMIN. You completely negate Olimars fmash because you eat his pikmin. He can eat energy/physical projectiles. But he cant eat ones that are larger than his mouth can open: ie Gordos/link tornado-rang/tlink boomerang. But when you eat and swallow the ones you can, there is end lag, so it is punishable.

The Chomp attack has received a number of changes. Eating items and projectile from items such as the Ray Gun will now heal Wario by 1% each. Items that heal you also increase Wario's Waft charge. Also, Wario can now eat energy projectiles such as Mario's fireball, however he does not heal or get any Waft charge from eating them. Finally, eating food items that do heal you, will heal you more by 1.5x the amount it would normally heal you (EX: Eating Maximum Tomatoes will heal 75% HP rather than 50%). Items that blow up can be eaten but will damage you a bit. MOST IMPORTANTLY It can eat through shields and reflect attacks. When people expect a smash attack and reflect, eating them is always a really great option. If you can bite above someone and DI down you will eat them by surprise!
