Here a two videos of me and my friend (First ones that I have been able to post, but more coming eventually I hope). Feel free to comment or whatever. Obviously I am not pro or anything I know I Dair just a "little" bit too much, don't DjC enough and I miss quite a few l-cancels...but I'm working on it...heh.

Edit:
Found this too it's a quick clip of me doing a DjC Grab from an otherwise not very interesting shiek match:

I <3 your Ness. The feel of it is closer to how I play than most other Ness videos, but maybe that's just because you use pkfire =). As for improvements...well, since you covered some things on the tech side, I'll add in DI. it's a tough one to get mastered, but definitely something to keep in mind.

You're right about the dair, but it isn't just the frequency I worry about. Your were doing the dair even when your opponent was above you, or not even close to you. I know it's relatively safe to land in, since it autocancels with such a wide spread of frames, but against someone as fast on the ground as luigi, it isn't wise to put moves out when you *think* you're safe.

For the Falco match, techno covered something that'll make that match some into perspective completely, though I will say that I like your focus on trying to throw falco off early for easy edgeguards. That 3rd stock against the bird was beautiful, though I would've batted after the pkfire, but your way worked wonderfully. Also, the start of the match was great, you just started the attack too early. If simple works, don't change it, right? Once he starts SHLs everywhere, you'll find something new.

Luigi match was solid, I didn't really see anything stand out for comment, so I'll let someone who isn't tired comment on it. I'll close in saying that your Ness makes me happy.

Thank you for using PK fire. Sometimes I think that I'm the only Ness that uses it. There aren't many differences in how you and I play except I don't hit my opponent with PK thunder.

im going to focus on the first video

first off, i like your style, the difficult part was that your opponent was not bad at all. i would like to see a bit more variety though with your moves. for example, i saw absolutely no uairs...

with this opponent, i think that perhaps you should try to stay out of the air when its not needed. use dash!!!!! you need to. also, try edgeguarding a little more instead of edgehogging. you dont have to, i just find it a little more respectful.

there was a bit much with the dair, but just replace that with nairs, and when you time it well, bairs are what'll rack up damage

not bad at all though, i'll comment more later

Thank you all for your comments. Some of the things that you pointed out will be very helpful.

Timotee: I definately use the Dair almost to a spamming extent, but the reason is alot of the time I use it to cancel my tumbling in the air after a hit, and secondly because it is the move I feel most comfortable l-canceling. I miss the l-cancel nair/bair/fair much more often so for right now its a safer bet. If you could point out the specific spots where I need to improve my DI that would be really helpful too.

Krulness: Thanks for your comments as well. I have been practicing the spacing on the dash this week to add that to my variety of attacks, but the Uair seems to be some more of a situational move for my playing style. Unfortunately my friend mains falco and 2nds luigi and falcos drill kick trumps my Uair so i almost never get a chance to attack him from below and the same goes for luigi's nair (kills at 110+ alot) when hes falling. I find it is best to just attack from the side or above. Bair seem to work better on this particular falco better as a kill move than to rack up damage because it either gets sheild grabbed/sheilded or sends him flying to the point where i can reach him. Every once in a while I can do a two or three in a row bair on him (there was one in the luigi video) but other times he di's too well. Finally I never used to be a edgehogger, but after i started play my friend i almost had to do it. he has absolutely no problem with it, and I can not really afford to be "nice" in the matches. Even one missed edgeguard can (and has) cost me a match.
