Ness confirmed.... old news, i highly doubt Sakurai would drop a vetern, if Lucas is confirmed then they could still fight in the same game with a different moveset.

So... Ness IS really confirmed?

I don't think that this particular slew of dialogue was clear enough to carve in stone that Ness is a confirmed character, but I do whole heartedly believe that the only characters that Sakurai plans to remove (in transition from melee to brawl)are clones(roy, pikachu,young link, doc -NOT falco/ganondorf) and I think that he wouldn't remove any of the original SSB(64) characters if without good reason.
