Needle in hand

I can't seem to do this on purpose.
Anyone know of a reliable method for it?

Odd, it still shows for me.
Anyway it's quite simple. You somehow keep a needle in your hand and it stays there even during any move or attack until any needle move is used again.
I bet you have seen it before

I've heard it been called the "wolverine claws" glitch. Not sure if that helps.

Alright I found the video on YT on the matter.
