I am a student at USC, a fellow smasher since melee, and someone who just got a really good deal on the coin-op arcade version of street figher II. I dont know anything about street fighter, nor about where to learn about street fighter. Is there a tier list? Any basic strats? Anyone have any tips or anything?

THanks!

Dude! Go for it! If you want to know what Street Fighter is, its a 2-D fighter, its just a simple fighter. I'll post a link to a SF video.

yeah, srk is actually the best place to go.

Other than that, you just have to do alot of fishing around. SFII knowledge is kinda like "common knowledge", now a day, so you have to do ALOT of looking for it.

You could also find a buncha stuff on the shoryuken wiki

All of the stuff you're actually looking for depends on what version of SFII you're playing. If you're looking to get into current competitive play, I'd assume you're looking into HDRemix or maybe Super Turbo. I mean, both of those are different enough in themselves.

Tiers included.

What specifically are you looking to learn?
