I think that there should be a thread where all the ROB mains can help eachother out. So i made one here :D

Here's how it works, I'll start by posting my problem(s) here, then any number of yall can give me tips/info to help. Then you post your problem(s) if any, then the next person can answer, ask more, or give other tips. Thought it would be a thing to try out. Keep Robbing On!

This may should like the most noobish question ever, but for me, it's legit. Basically i need to know how to tech and Di/smash Di. I never learned how, nor could i find out how. Thanks so much for the help <33

To answer your questions -

In Smash 4, when being launched to the side blast zones (left and right) you hold towards the stage. When being launched up or down, you want to DI in such a way that you travel the least far, it's move dependent. So you want to DI R.O.B's up throw whatever direct he is facing.

Teching is just pressing a shield button before you touch a surface such as a wall, ceiling, or floor. You have to press shield 40 frames before you hit the surface, but you can't spam it. If you spam shield you won't tech.
