Illusion stalling. Drop off the edge and IMMEDIATELY illusion (side B) towards the stage to keep your invulnerability.

In my opinion, I don't think it's really necessary to learn it. It's more flashy then useful.

Well if you time it correctly, you can just edgehog the illusion stall. At times, flashiness can kill you.

I think the only good flashy/efficient move would be the instant shine to aerial attack. Makes me look cool.

its actually drop jump illusion immediately so your jump doesn't make you go up. thats how i do it at least. i haven't been able to just drop illusion, so idk if that's possible.

it's easiest to just flick the c-stick the opposite way you want to go and then just press over b toword the ledge

I don't understand how it is easier to flick the C-stick away and foward B. The C-stick seems so far away from the B. I was able to do it at least once just using the joystick.

it isnt necessary but it does confuse opponents into what you are going to do, so it might work as a good mind game. and i cant do that drop thing, but i can walljump>illusion to edge> repeat, its my favorite thing to do on edges.
