I'm not super hardcore about competitive battling, but I'm raising a team of 3 for the WiFi Battle Tower.

Starmie @Expert Belt
Docile Nature
EVs: Speed & Sp.Atk
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam
-Surf
-Psychic

Togepi (Eventually to be Togetic/Togekiss) @Leftovers
Serious nature
EVs: HP & Sp. Def
-Thunder wave/yawn/encore
-Baton pass
-Nasty Plot
-Ancientpower/grass knot/air slash/aura sphere

...And the third pokemon I haven't decided yet.

As for the natures, I know they are both neutral, but I just settled with that after trying to get a beneficial one for so long.

I'm no expert, so if you have any advice about the movesets or the third pokemon, please tell me!

Use the Q&A thread, or the Rating Room.
Oh, and as PsychoIncarnate said, never use pokemon with neutral natures. There's always a better nature.
If you want a better team, then change their natures.

Exactly. You're saying I just want a good team but you can't have a good team with neutral natures. With GTS/Trading it's pretty easy to get a Ditto and a evertsone. If you're not breeding for IVS at least you're getting the right natures.

Baton passing isn't really that great in BT because you only have 3 pokemon. And you need to have the proper resist on your team. If you're going to keep Togekiss, Jirachi is a great pokemon to pair with him.

Ok, thanks. Yeah next time I'll put more effort into it:laugh:

Breeding is your friend. It's long and painful and you'll go up and down and past that freaking day care center like a gagillion times. And in the end you'll buy an Action Replay and just...no nevermind. What I meant to say way. Breed, get correct nature/ability, check IVs around at LEAST level 15-20 and repeat until satisfied. BAM

Learn how to breed. It's long, it's tiring, it's boring, but in the end it'll be worth it.

Or if you're gonna screw that and continue from what you got here I suggest something that resists Electric-types. Electivire / Jolteon could ruin your team without breaking a sweat.
